[He grabs himself a beer and cracks it open, taking a few swings on his way back. He's got himself a half-empty can already. Maybe he should cut back...one day.]

[She lifts her head up when he sits down.]

How many of those does it take you to get drunk? [She gives a tight-lipped smile.]

A whole lot. More than I would really like to admit.

[He looks over at her calmly. With each beer he mellows out just that much more, as if he could get any cooler.]

[She softly laughs, looking down at her cup. Her fingers gently tracing the rim.]

I guess that should be pretty obvious. [She turns her head to look at him.] Do you drink often?

Perhaps. [He swirls the remainder of the beer in his can.]

Yes. Daily. Is it that obvious?

[She laughs again, her head leaning back a little.]

Snake, you're a doctor's worst nightmare! [She hopes that he understands that's a joke. Sort of.]

A smoker and a drinker? Yeah, I'd say so.

[She understands, though. With all he's been through, she doesn't blame him. She knows that the only person who can make him stop is himself, not her. As much as she cares for him and wants him to.

Finishing her drink, as well, she sets the cup down.] I think I'm done for the night. I'm already a little lightheaded.

Lightweight. [He says playfully with a smirk.]

[She leans her elbow on the chair again and tilts her head. A playful smirk right back.]

You say that like that's a bad thing.

[He rubs his hand over his weary eye, then he glances back up at the night sky.]

[She laughs at the fact comment before she stands up to stretch. Her arms above her head, back arched a little.]

I feel like I've been sitting all day.

[He rises with her, mostly just cracking his old back.]

[She brings her arms to her sides, smiling.]

Yeah, that hot dog is going to go straight to my stomach now.

[She steps closer to him, her arm faintly touching his.]

If a man and a woman were both dainty-looking, they wouldn't but such a 'handsome' couple, would they?

[He chuckles.] I suppose not.

I wouldn't call us Bogey and Bacall, but...

[Her hand goes to his shoulder, her cheek resting against her own arm.]

I'd think we're still a pretty handsome couple. [She looks at him with a smile.] Wouldn't you?

[She gives a small laugh and then pulls away from him. Her hand lingering for a moment. Then, she silently starts to clean up their area behind him, the faint sound of the beer bottles clinging together.]
