[She's just half-tempted to throw her hands in the air from frustration, but she remains there, hand on hip.]

You were very rude to me when I was telling you that information. In the hallway.

[And of course, being a woman, she doesn't let some things go.]

[He gives her the typical man look that only says one thing:]

[She presses her lips together, trying not to give a frustrated sigh.]

Did you forget already? When you told me to stop pointing out your failure of mental facilities when I was only trying to help.

[He huffs.] That was supposed to 'help'?

Forget it.

[Her knee slides off the couch and her foot plants on the floor. Then, she sits on the other end of the couch.

She wonders why it's so hard to be somewhat sexy when he doesn't get the point.]

[He looks over at her a bit strangely.]

[She starts mutter-rambling to herself.]

[John is just listening to her mumbly commentary.]

[She just lets out a defeated sigh, then stands up. Her voice weary.]

Do you want another glass of water? I'm going to get something to drink myself.

No, thank you. I'm fine. [He looks up to her and smiles.]

[She doesn't smile back, she just turns to walk into the kitchen and grabs a glass for her out of the cabinet. She fills it up with water, but instead of going back into the room, she leans her back against the sink and slowly sips the water, staring off at some random tile on the floor.]

[He leans his head back on the couch, closes his eye and rests quietly as he patiently awaits her return.]

[She finishes her glass, one arm across her torso, elbow with the water resting in her hand. Then, she decides to slowly make her way back to the couch. She sits on the coffee table again, her hands in her lap.]

[He's rather drowsy, but he's not asleep. After a few seconds the reclining gentleman speaks.]

[She turns her head to look at him.]

Are you tired?

Very.

[He's amazed that she never noticed until now. Maybe he hides it too well.]

You sure you don't mind me sleeping here on your couch again like some sort of old hobo Veteran?

I don't mind it at all.

[She stands up, smiling.] I like making breakfast for other people anyway.

[Old John perks up just a bit.] 'Breakfast'?

I'll make sure that I stay around in the morning, then.

[She softly laughs.] Alright, then. I'll make a good breakfast for the both of us.

[Then she sits on the arm of the couch, next to him.]

Are you sure you won't be more comfortable in a bed?

I don't want to be a bother... [He exhales quietly.]

What did I tell you before? [She pats his hand.] You're never a bother.

[He rests is warm hand atop hers. He squeezes a little.]

[She leans forward a little and smiles.]

But never a bother. Ever.
