[She glances up at him for a moment, looking at his features in the darkness. She rests her head on his chest again, listening to the sound of his hearbeat. Feeling the rise and fall of his chest, the timing being different than her own.]

[Jane, on the other hand, remains awake. She listens to the silence and the sound of his breathing. It calms her, but it's not until a few hours later when she drifts off to sleep.]
