[He seats himself on her sofa, making a content grunting sound once he's seated.]

Mm. [She smiles before going to fill up the glass again. She takes her own small sip before handing it to him.

She sits on the edge of the coffee table in front of him. She looks off to the side, as if she's thinking she needs to paint that wall, readjust that picture, make sure the clock is on the right time, things that she honestly doesn't need to think about right now, but still does.]

[He smirks and takes the glass from her, drinking it all again. Yes, he's feeling a lot better now. He holds onto the glass for the time being.]

[After a moment he glances in the same direction at the same wall that Jane is staring at.]

[After a few moments, she turns her head to look at him. When she sees him looking in the direction she was looking in, she feels a bit embarrassed for letting him catch her daze off like that.]

Oh, sorry about that. I was just thinking. [Then, without a pause.] Do you need another glass?

No, no. I'm fine. Thank you.

If you are tired, I can let myself out.

[She shakes her head.]

No, I'm not tired. I'm very much awake actually. Which is probably why I off in my own world there for a moment, actually. [She smiles.] I'm sorry about that. It wasn't really important things anyway.

[He sits back on her couch and stretches out comfortably.]

You happy there on that table?

It's not as comfortable as the couch, but it's not back-breaking either.

[Still, she stands up, hands at her sides, and steps over his feet to sit fairly close to him on the couch. She doesn't lean back, though.]

[He looks over at her with a relaxed gaze.]

I'll have to venture home soon before I get too tired.

[She sits back, her body gently leaning against his.]

[He's very warm, due to the drinks he had previously, and he's soft...blame his love of pie on that one. He wraps his arms around her loosely.]

Alright. It's that or have an old man sleeping on your sofa again.

[She leans her head on his shoulder, bringing her legs up beside her on the couch.]

Mmn, I didn't mind it last time. I have a movie date with someone tomorrow, but that's not until later in the day, so you can stay as long as you'd like. If you want to that is, I'm not forcing you to.

I'll get out of your hair soon.

I don't want to be in your way, especially if you have plans for tomorrow.

You won't be in my way, Snake.

[She softly laughs, resting her chin on his shoulder to look at him.] You never are.

Hmmm... [He sprawls out as if he owns the couch, then.] Alright. Alright.

[She slides away from him and leans forward on the couch again.]

Plus,

[She turns most of her body, lifting herself on her knees. She places on knee on the edge of the couch between his legs. Her hips gently pressing into his thigh.] You owe me an apology.

[His eye widens a bit. He might be a little worried about her new position and where she's chosen to place her knee...]

Oh, really?

Mmhmm. [She places one hand on her hip, the other on the top of the couch past his shoulder. A confident expression on her face.]

[He glances down to her knee...]

[She shifts her hips a little bit.]

For being rude to a lady.

[John tilts his head a little.]

[She's just half-tempted to throw her hands in the air from frustration, but she remains there, hand on hip.]

[And of course, being a woman, she doesn't let some things go.]

[He gives her the typical man look that only says one thing:]

[She presses her lips together, trying not to give a frustrated sigh.]
