[Jack just happened to stumble across a VR room today. Upon walking inside, the room changed to look like the interior of Arsenal Gear. Several Tengu soldiers jumped down from nowhere, blades in hand. Jack drew his own sword; if anything, this was a good way to practice with his blade and make sure he didn't get rusty. There was a split second in which he sized up his opponents, before going in for the first strike. He dispatched the men quickly and efficiently. There were over a dozen of them, and yet Jack came out victorious with nothing more than a light scratch on his cheek. The simulation ended. It was too easy. If only it had been that easy back in 2009.]

...?

[He touches at his cheek; the cut still seems to be there. He pulls his hand away, finding traces of white blood on his fingertips. The cut didn't bother him; but the fact that the consequences of VR seemed to have carried over into reality confused him. How strange...]

((Have a VR room :T People can see who the others are fighting if they wish, or they can fight their own simulations. The only catch here is that wounds inflicted upon your character in VR will carry over to real life; so be careful~))

[Jack had been extra busy with his thoughts lately. And for once, not only of Rose; even if she did still take up 90% of his thoughts. He'd spoken with Dolph about how the civilians here needed better protection; the Hall Patrol weren't doing a good enough job, and he was sure nobody around here disagreed. He wasn't sure if Dolph was still up for the task, but he sure as hell was. Which is why he's put a few flyers up around the Nexus.]

Offering protection for civilians, free of charge.
Also looking for capable people looking to join together to provide a more adequate from of patrol for the Nexus.

[Well, he was a man of few words. The flyers were by no means fancy or eye-catching, but they did their job and that was all that mattered to Jack.]

((Sorry Hall Patrol, Jack doesn't think you're doing a good enough job and is taking matters into his own hands. He's looking for individuals who can prove they'd be a help in making the Nexus safer for people; be it through combat experience, talents in spying and/or infiltration, or even the skinny nerds who can provide equipment and better means of surveillance~))

[There's a Jack lying on a bed in one of the infirmaries. He's half-awake, only vaguely aware of his surroundings. After a moment he rolls over, running a hand through his hair. Hn... the room seemed different. Did they move him while he was asleep? He's kind of impressed, considering what a light sleeper he is. He sits up slowly, still getting used to feeling things again. This new body may still be a machine, but they had put more work into making this a body for living in rather than a body for... well, killing people in. He'd almost believe they had just placed him back into his old body if not for the lack of (most of) his tattoos. That, and the fact that he was sure he would still bleed white if he should get injured.]

[He flexes his hands, and then his toes. Huh. Felt weird to have toes again. This could take some getting used to. He tries to stand, but shakes on his feet and ends up having to sit down again.]

Damn...

((I'LL STOP MAKING RAIDENS WHEN JESSA AND ALEX STOP TELLING ME TO GODDAMN YOU GUYS <3 Kind of post-MGS4 Jack; he hasn't met up with Rose and John yet, and I doubt that without the added pressure of a kid hanging around that he'll be so inclined to believe Rose when she says her marriage to Campbell was a lie.))
