[When Vamp hadn't returned that night, Snake had worried that the other man had simply decided not to involve himself with Snake anymore. The thought was somewhat alleviated by the fact that Mina was still around; if Vamp had left, he'd surely have taken the cockatoo with him.]

[Still, that he hadn't come home was unusual, so Snake had eventually gone to his brother's room (and had brought along Mina because she seemed to be missing Vamp's presence as much as Snake was.)]

[He'd found the room a mess. Books and clothes scattered over the floor as if an angry child had thrown the tantrum of the century. (Mantis had apparently returned at some point and found that three days hadn't been enough) The only thing undisturbed in the place was Liquid's body still lying on the bed.]

[Now truly alarmed at the gruesome discovery and concerned for his roommate, Snake is searching the halls and rooms with Mina in tow, trying to find answers.]
