It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum
[Big Boss is walking the hallways.]
[He's walking directly past his office.]
[He's currently supporting a BFG ready to hurt some people. Namely
saltpeppered.]
[His mood is not the greatest right now. Cross him and say something, and you might suffer the consequences of his wrath.]
((ooc: Already been three days since he died and he's ready to kick some ass. Tread carefully!))

Hn?
I thought I killed you...

[He fired a bullet - only a warning - as it lodged beside Snake's head in the wall. He sneered.]
There you are.
no subject
Here I am. [He outstretched his arms.] What do you want?
no subject
[He strode up to him, a fierce step in his stride, and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.]
I thought I raised you better than to play dirty, Snake.
no subject
[He winces out a cough.]
You turned your back on you, you bastard!

...H-Hi.
[That came out as more of a strangled squeak. Fuck dammit :(]
/Noms
This is why you will never amount to the same status as Snake has. You are pathetic.
[He rolled his single eye.] I have no time to deal with you.
[And he continued down the hallway.]

[He wanders the halls, a heavy pack full of rations on his back as he moves. He hadn't even returned to his room where he'd left the man's corpse, unable to bear looking at the reminder that a coward's lucky shot had managed to best the world's greatest soldier. He had no idea that the man had been revived.]
[All Fox knows is that he needs to continue his task as if the man had been here all along. It's the only way to keep himself in check.]
no subject
[He had been grateful for what Fox had done during his minor disappearance, though he had no clue how badly it might have effected him.]
[Noticing Fox down the hallway, Big Boss slowly strides his away up to him, looming beside him in an eerily quiet way.]
Hello, Frank.
no subject
[An unsteady hand reaches up into one of the interior pockets of his jacket. He takes out a bottle of pills and unscrews the top, bringing the canister to his mouth and dry-swallowing the two lorazepam tablets that remain in there.]
[Fox breathes slowly, it'll take a few minutes for the pills to take effect. He manages to put the empty canister back into his jacket, drawing in a breath as he speaks; he needs to know if the voice really is just his exhausted mind playing with him.]
...Sir?
no subject
[He stood in front of Fox, bracing his hands on the younger soldier's upper arms.]
Frank... You look terrible. [He quietly muttered, resisting the urge to clear the blood from his hands and encourage him to sleep.]

Big Boss?

[Almost distractedly, he responds, though he doesn't seem too focused on Snake right now. This one wasn't as bad as the others.]
no subject
[He keeps his distance for safety's sake.]
You seem [how is this even possible?] more angry than usual.
no subject
I didn't realize you were capable of pulling off dirty moves.
[Big Boss is not pleased.]

[Boss steps in front of him. She already knows something is wrong.]

[Everytime he was faced with this woman, his heart felt like it was breaking all over again. However, his expression remained stoic and collected.]
Boss.
no subject
[She looks him over, taking in his body language.]
no subject
But I have some capacity to understand what death feels like.
[He stared at her in turn. This woman meant so much more than she could ever imagine, and yet he managed to maintain his jerk-like qualities.]

Sir... [He turns around slowly, a look of relief pervading his face.] Y-you're back.
no subject
[He shifted footing, gazing down at Hal.] Are you alright?
