It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum
[Big Boss is walking the hallways.]
[He's walking directly past his office.]
[He's currently supporting a BFG ready to hurt some people. Namely
saltpeppered.]
[His mood is not the greatest right now. Cross him and say something, and you might suffer the consequences of his wrath.]
((ooc: Already been three days since he died and he's ready to kick some ass. Tread carefully!))

[He strode up to him, a fierce step in his stride, and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.]
I thought I raised you better than to play dirty, Snake.
no subject
[He winces out a cough.]
You turned your back on you, you bastard!
no subject
And what provoked you to do so, hmm? I didn't attempt to do such a thing to you. I wasn't searching for your death.
But you may have just convinced me otherwise.

[He doubles over in pain then falls to his knees, slamming his right hand onto the floor to stop his body from making contact with it.]

[He slid his hand into Snake's hair, gripping it tightly.] Look at me, soldier.
[He slowly crouched down to Snake's level, his single eye piercing and strong.] This is the face that made you. This is the face that can break you, understand?
no subject
[He grunts in pain, wincing, but he manages to look his angry Father in the eye as ordered.]
Yes...Yes, Sir. Yes, Sir! [Snake wheezes his words.]
no subject
[He released his grip on him and stood up to his feet.]
Get up.
no subject
...
no subject
I won't be killing you, Snake. That option is far too good for you.
No... I think I would much rather keep you alive for the time being. And from now on, you will remain under my guard.
no subject
[He reaches up and rests his hand on Big Boss' cold, metal hand, but he doesn't bother trying to get free as he realizes he couldn't if he wanted to.]
no subject
You need to be drawn back in line, soldier.
no subject
Yes, Sir.
no subject
[He extends his hand impatiently.]
no subject
[He hands over his SOCOM and his combat knife.]
no subject
[He clasps his hands tightly around both objects, stowing them in his pocket securely.]
no subject
no subject
[He suspected as much, but it didn't hurt to ask.]
[Big Boss beckoned Snake to follow him to one of his various offices. He pushed open the door, pointing inside.]
Come inside, Snake.
no subject
[He follows him with some reluctance, wondering what the old man wants with him now.]
no subject
[He returns after a few minutes with a uniform in his hands, and what looks like a few boxes of rations. He hands them all to Snake.]
You'll wear this from now on, and you will eat three meals a day.
You will also get rid of that collar. It doesn't suit you.
no subject
[He takes what he's been given and offers no backsass but one thing-]
I can't take off the collar. It doesn't come off.
[And it's true. It's indestructible and has no snaps or buckles. Blame the Nexus.]
no subject
Surely you can cut it loose.
[He stares at him, perplexed.]
no subject
Don't you think that I have tried? Nno, it doesn't come off. Nothing works. The only thing I have not tried was a HF blade or a chainsaw but I rather not risk cutting off my head.
...Now that I think about it...that may be the only way to get it off.
I don't know why I have it or what it means. It's just there and, for the most part, I just ignore it.
no subject
Perhaps the Nexus is trying to tell you something.
[He wonders if there is a leash around here...]
no subject
I. Am. Not. A. DOG.
no subject
I was thinking more along the lines of it representing the fact you are bound here to this place.
Though... now that you mention it, a dog is a far more appropriate way of looking at it.
