[Ignoring her scream, Gary nonchalantly wiggles his way out of the fishskin, then pulls out a small notepad and pen from his coat]

....Aliens don't come from fish. [:/]

[Sighs] My cousin is a big-eye tuna fisherman. I gutted one of his fish and wore it as a disguise to infiltrate the fortress of an island in Alaska.

Now tell me about this alien, will ya?

That doesn't sound the least bit weird to you? You know what-- forget it. I'm not going to ask any further.

You can call me Para-Medic. A young girl told me there was a shape shifting alien a few months back. I immediately went to warn everyone, because... it's not weird for a place such as this to have an alien taking the form of other humans or animals. As for finding it, I haven't come across it yet. So, either it's very very smart or... I watch too many science fiction movies.

[Suddenly goes serious] There's no such thing as "too much science fiction". People could learn a thing or two from watching movies.

It's how I found out about what happened to me as a kid...

[Takes out a full jar of peanut butter from his pocket, to calm himself down a bit. Gary swipes a bit with his finger and offers her the jar]

[She eyes the peanut butter jar and shakes her head.] Thanks, but, no thanks.

[Pleased to hear someone else likes science fiction movies, she starts to look interested.] Oh, it's wonderful you say that! I love science fiction movies, and people just don't get why. They're brilliant though-- movies in general are brilliant. Being able to escape from reality for just a couple of hours to experience this interesting life of someone else. It's really a good idea of entertainment, don't you think?

Hm? What do you mean by that? What happened to you?

[Shrugs] I don't blame you. Peanut butter ruined my life.

[Stares at the jar with a look of pure disgust] And [Stops mid-song to look at Para] ...Is that how the song goes?

...? Oh... entertainment... yeah, I guess. But they're also a valuable source of information.

[She's keeping a good distance from this man. Maybe he is the shape shifting alien. He bares an odd resemblance to Humphrey Bogart she thinks though.]

Oh? I know a guy who claims he was too. Is it like in the movies? Or The Twilight Zone?

Oh yeah. Damn, I've been trying to figure that one out for a while...

Hm. [Rubs his chin] ...My experience was a little less exciting that that.

I fell into a patch of mud and blacked out for some reason. When I woke up, it was already dawn... my parents were worried sick.

But when I ran home and got in front of a mirror to get a good look at the bumb on my head, I saw IT instead.

[Gary turns, bending his left-ear slightly for Para to see a small hole.] Ever since then, I've been plagued by a constant ringing in my ear. [Turns to face her again]

It was pretty obvious what had happened to me. But no one had enough sense to listen to me about it... [Sighs]

That was the day I decided to become a journalist, and uncover truth for a living.

[She squints her eyes, trying to get a good look. She doesn't want to get too close to him, she's being extra cautious.]

Oh, a constant ringing? Well, that could be a medical problem actually...

That's an interesting job though. Do you mind if I asked what you've uncovered so far? Life on other planets is always fascinating! I mean, in my time, we haven't put a man on the moon yet...

Nah, it was aliens. [Said matter-of-factly]

Oh, they did. The original landing was a fake, though.... But after that, we did. We've made a lot of discoveries about space recently. More signs of alien life, even.

Well I discovered that tuna skin can actually be pretty comfortting.

I also had a recent bestseller called "The Telekinetic Powers of the Loch Ness Monster - The True Energy Source of UFOs."

A long title, I know. But it speaks for itself.

[She's trying to take in the book name, tilting her head a little.] Do you have a copy of your book with you? I'd love to read it! In fact, I'm sure that this Nexus would have it somewhere in it's libraries!
