Remember Remember the 5th of November
[Deep inside one of the various rooms of the Nexus is an Ocelot. This room might be somewhat familiar to certain members of the building, but to those without realization of the location would be greeted by a pleasant Eastern European environment. Beautiful cityscape, quaint stores and coffee shops, and a dark sky with a bright moon overhead. The night life of this particular city was indeed a breathtaking sight to witness. Lamps illuminated the scope of the location above as though softening the features of the luxirious surroundings. Usually, it was fairly quiet at this time, but there happened to be a lot of bustling of faceless bodies surrounding the streets and out by the water.]
[There was a chill in the air that night and the smell of gunpowder lingered in faint wisps. The aftermath of Halloween encouraged a more subtle evening ahead for the 5th of November celebrations. It wouldn't be long before the fireworks set off.]
[Ocelot was sat outside a café of a street corner. He leaned his arm on the small round table before him, a thick cigar held securely between gloved fingers. He could feel winter creeping up and decided to adorn his coat. The memories of this place, it was where he had been pulled from in his world. So much had happened by being in this world, this Nexus, it almost seemed an inevitability that he would never return home.]
[But no matter how many times he fought with that debate in his mind, he found himself not caring about the slim chances of returning to 2014. His life was perfect here. This was his home.]
[As that thought passed him, a bright pink flash of light sparked in the night sky. Ocelot smirked and raised his cup of hot chocolate to his lips, sipping the substance calmly.]
((ooc: Bonfire Night! Come and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells. There's plenty of stores open due to the event and open stalls with hot food ready to serve. You can go anywhere you like. Just don't fall in the water if you want to get a really good view of the fireworks.))

Stop trying to be my main character, Ocelot |:

[For now, he gives him the benefit of the doubt and simply acknowledges him with a subtle nod of his head.]

[It's quite apparent that this EVA has been walking around for several hours now; as she can now be seen carrying quite a few shopping bags over to the motorbike that she has parked off to the side of the road.]
[Though the woman is enjoying some time to spoil herself, she wouldn't mind some company from whoever would be willing to offer theirs.]

[He decides to greet her by pushing up from his table and casually strides towards EVA in confidence. He seems genuinely pleased to see her.]
Good evening.

Adam?
[Oh boy.] ...Look... [The woman furrows her brow] ...If this is about the other day... I apologize...
[She doesn't know that this is a different Ocelot than the one she argued with before]

Huh... needs a little color.
[Bending down, he removes the cigarette from his lips and touches the lighted end of the stick against a thin string. It suddenly flared up and the fuse started to burn as Fury backed away from the miniature rockets all lined up in a row.]
... 3 ... 2 ... 1.
[Fuses burned through and the rockets shot from the ground, ascending into the air. Seconds later, the sky was decorated in a brilliant display of color (http://www.niagaraparks.com/images/Niagara-Falls-Fireworks%20%282%29.jpg).

Hmh~
[He hummed through his nose in appreciation and took another puff of his cigar.]

[Fury doesn't turn from his spot as he kept steel-gray eyes on the sky. Other pyro-fanatics a couple yards away from him were shooting off their own fireworks to dazzle the watching patrons of the city.
Soon the whole sky would be set ablaze.]

[Laughing Octopus is clinging to a nearby light post, watching the fireworks burst in the sky. Her laughter becomes more apparent which each explosion.]

[He'd never truly taken to celebrating holidays. There were some he'd celebrate for Naomi's sake when they lived in America, such as Halloween and Christmas, but the bonfire night and Guy Fawkes Day were celebrations he never really got into. As he enjoys the evening now though, he almost wishes he'd spent longer living in Great Britain years ago.]
[...Perhaps burning an effigy of Ocelot was in order.]

[He plucks the cigar from his lips and raises his head to stare at the opposing soldier. Fox had a way of putting the old cat on edge. It was as though he could sense what the brat was thinking.]

Hey!
[He looks suspiciously at the Ocelot. He thinks the man's an Ocelot, anyway. They look alike even if this one
has a third dimensionis older.]What did you just do?

[The sudden explosions in the sky catch him off guard and he dives for cover, before realizing fireworks were going off.] Hn? [Slowly he stands, looking around. Right, this is still the Nexus... Looks like weird crap was still happening.]

Bonfire Night. The fireworks are tradition. Don't ask me who's in charge of the display. I have nothing to do with it.
