[For a man that never admitted whether or not he was an 'otaku', he sure spends a lot of time being a hermit at home during most normal people's waking hours.  Dave decided to venture out today. He noticed that Hal wasn't in the apartment, again, and he figured the man is working himself to death in the computer lab. With a a furoshiki-wraped bento box, he's headed to the computer lab to bring his lover something to eat. Dave knows Hal well enough to know that he hasn't eaten.]

[Anime was educational in that respect but there were a lot of flaws with 'anime-Japanese'.]

Yes, Ohayou is good morning or Ohayou gozaimasu, if you wanna be formal, and konnichiwa is good afternoon.

Good evening is konbanwa.

Good night is oyasuminasai.

Moshi, moshi is how you answer the phone or any sort of electronic device used for communication. To agree over said device is ryoukai. It's like roger wilco. It's more of a military thing, I guess...

Too bad we don't have any missions together any more. That would have been handy to use.

[He reached a hand up and gently rubbed his thumb against Dave's throat.] It's a good job you stopped smoking.

[He quirks a brow at Hal, then shakes his head.]

[Hal just smiles slyly.]

[He reaches up and ruffles his gray hair between his fingers and smiles warmly. His heart thumps softly against his chest.]

Well knowing that you want me around gives me a reason to leave earlier.

[Taking Dave's hand into his own, Hal led him through to the bedroom. They hadn't been able to snuggle much at all. In fact, the old nerd couldn't even remember the last time they had shared the same sleeping patterns.]

[Kicking down his pants and removing his sweater, Hal seats himself on the bed and slips under the covers. He wriggles over so Dave can lay down next to him.]

[Dave wanders closer as he peels off his shirt and slips out of his shorts. He slinks into the bed, similarly to the way Hal did moments before.]

[Hal's arm immediately drapes across Dave's chest. He snuggled in against him, sighing at the warmth his partner was distributing.]

[That causes him to sigh out a rumbly sigh as he relaxes under Hal's embrace.]

[Hal was mentally counting the minutes, estimating how long it would take for Dave to fall asleep. He himself was wide awake, but was content to watch his lover dozing off.]

[Dave isn't particularly sleepy, but he is more relaxed than he was when he spent his nights trying to relax alone.]
