[There's a somewhat disheartened Beauty wandering the hallways. Raven officially turned 21 today... but it didn't seem to matter. She hadn't heard from John for a while now, and although she shouldn't really jump to conclusions... well, she assumed maybe he moved on...? She didn't know how breakups worked. She'd never been broken up with before. She tried to tell herself that he was probably just really busy, but she was running out of excuses for him.]

[Sighing, she passes a room with the door slightly ajar. Backtracking, she peers inside. She can see small tables and a dancefloor, along with longer tables holding food and drink. Upon walking inside she finds herself in a black dress and heels, her hair no longer in the usual ponytail but falling freely down her back, curled slightly. She can't help but smile when she sees the large banner at the back of the room that reads "Happy 21st Birthday, Raven!". At least the Nexus didn't forget...]

((PARTY AGAIN. You don't have to change clothing upon walking inside, and there are drinks for kids too. Of course, if you're someone Raven doesn't like she'll probably eject you by force. In pieces. And on fire.))

[He pulls a chair out beside him, smiling back at her.]

[She smirked. She didn't know what it was with this version of Jack and his coolant, but if he liked it, that was okay with her.]

Hey, I even got Vamp to see the useful side of Coolant! If I can make him want some, I'm sure I can make the entire Nexus appreciate it, one day.

[She rubbed her right arm where the healed scar from the stab wound that had gone straight through her arm was. There was a lighter scar down the length of her arm.]

[He looks down for a moment.]

Yeah... knowing just what time he's from, too...

[He frowns, opening his shirt slightly and pulling the fabric over so she can see the still-healing stab wound in his shoulder.]

[Her eyes softened when she saw the stab wound, frowning. She reached out and touched the wound.]

That man is a monster. I hope I don't run into him ever again. I'm sorry that happened Jack...

It's fine... he needed stitches after that encounter, too.

[He bites his lip, covering the wound again.]

I just didn't expect to see that version of him...

At least he didn't get away unscathed. He didn't have any wounds when I saw him so you must have run into him after I did.

I didn't either... It's going to be hard to be around him... after what he did...
