[There's this young Big Boss lurking around the first floor. He doesn't want to venture too far in case his kid or the recently injured little Ocelot needs him, but he's pretty sure that won't be the case. Regardless, he wants to be responsible, so he's only muddling around on his floor. He's currently in the kitchen, of course, just milling around while he waits for his coffee to finish brewing.]

[He shrugs. John's used to a painfully solitary life; he could use the company, but he doesn't seek it or ask. John believes that he's not good company so he's become rather avoidant as of late, especially after pissing off that Adam recently somehow.]

Yeah. [It's weird. He thought he wasn't being a good Father or mentor and assumed that's why his kid just disappeared, but now that he's back, he's so overjoyed he's damn-near stunned.] Yeah. Whatever you want-!

[Snake smiled slowly. The corners of his eyes eventually wrinkled and he reached out to pat his shoulder.]

We should go fishing again. The old-fashioned way.
