Do you know what day it is?
[April 30th, the day she was assigned to "accidentally" run into the man Jack Brannigan. She checked herself in the mirror, making sure she looked like the blonde-haired, blue-eyed bombshell that Jack's psyche report said he liked in a woman. She knew it was her expertise in information analysis and psychology that earned her this job, but she wasn't naive enough not to know that it was partly given to her because she was an attractive female. Couldn't exactly do what she's trying to do if she was a man.]
[Smoothing out her modest-but-still-sexy dress, she nodded, satisfied. It was time to do her job. The word "spy" didn't sit well for her, she was just another woman trying to make a career for herself.]
[However, when she stepped off of the elevator in her apartment complex, intending to head to Federal Hall where she knew the dark haired Jack would be at about this time, she blinked in surprised as she suddenly wasn't standing on the very familiar lobby, but rather a long, white hallway.]
...Did I hit the wrong floor?
[She turned around but... the elevator was nowhere to be seen.]
[((Concept!PreMGS2 Rose, information is in her bio if you're interested. Protip: she's not much different from normal preMGS2 Rose, except for appearances.))]

[The voice comes from a man leaning against the wall to her blind side. Liquid sounds annoyed, irritable. He doesn't bother looking at her. What's the point? He came through a door like that once before, just over a month ago- and he's still here now. It's infuriating.]

A little, I just got off of an elevator but... it's... gone.
[She briefly wondered if she was still sleeping.]

[His voice is bored, dry. He doesn't really want to have to explain this. If she'd ask, he'd explain, but otherwise he isn't going to bother offering an explanation.]
no subject
But that doesn't make any sense. Doors don't just disappear, and especially not in an old apartment building.
no subject
[Ugh, how annoying. Had he been so confused as this? Possibly, but surely he would not have deluded himself into thinking it was impossible.]
no subject
Alright, well if you're so smart, maybe you'd like telling me where this is?
no subject
[Dramatically, he held his hands out, palms facing the ceiling.]
You have been brought into the most pointless waste of space there is. Welcome to the Nexus.
no subject
The Nexus? And that is? And how did I get here?
no subject
Nobody knows what it is, or how we got here. Everyone came here like you did. Just walked right on in - and found they couldn't walk back out again.

Um, do you know what just happened...?

[Raven is always glad to be helpful!]
Who are you?
no subject
My name is Rose.
[She answered, looking at him carefully.]
What's your name?
no subject
[He moves a little closer, looking her over with interest. The Rose he lives with is brunette, but they certainly do share some features.]
I'm Raven. I think I know you.
no subject
Raven? I... don't think I know any Ravens, I'm sorry.
no subject
[He halts just before entering into her personal space.]
Are you into psychology?
no subject
[Okay, he might be a little crazy...]
Yes, I am... why?
[She spoke carefully, watching him.]

[Snake sighed, lowering her gun only for a moment when a lady just... appeared. She went back on alert as she pointed the tranq gun at the new arrival cautiously.]
Who are you?
no subject
[She held up her hands, frightened.]
P-please don't shoot!
no subject
[Her fear seemed genuine but you never know in the battlefield.]
no subject
[Maybe talking them down would work...]
no subject
[Well, he ... she was married to the Colonel. Trustworthy enough. Snake put her gun away.]
How are you and the Colonel doing?
no subject
[She was still a little panicked but glad that gun was gone.]
no subject
Where you just came from... What was the date?
[Might as well get a reading on her. Although, Snake didn't know too much about Roger. Except.... shaking the controller always was a nice effect.]
