This hasn't been a good week.

[Things have not been going well for this Big Boss. She had to kill The Boss yesterday and learned today that 'ADAM' was a Chinese spy all along. Then, the government had the nerve to award her for killing her beloved mentor, fully knowing that she had never betrayed America. It was seeing the grave that broke her, though. After setting down The Boss' Patriot and some white flowers, she saluted and tried not to cry, but tears ran down her cheek, anyway.

She only closed her eye for a moment, but, when she opened it, she was no longer in the graveyard. She stopped saluting and wiped her tears away with her sleeve. She needed to figure out where she was.

It seemed clear now that the world hated her guts.]

ADAM... It's a good thing you don't know him. Para-Medic was, obviously, my medic. She talked pretty enthusiasticly about cloning, once, but I never thought she'd actually do it. As for Ocelot... Yeah, I know her. She's a friend... Sort of... As much you can be a friend when you're shooting at each other.

One of these days, I should tell you about the Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater, shouldn't I, Silver?

If it has anything to do with whips, you can blame me. During Operation Snake Eater, I was captured and tortured. My torturer was a man named Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov. He... flogged me. Based on the fact that she had a whip on her the next time we met, it left quite the impression on Ocelot.
