Let's go to the movies!

[After talking to Para-Medic again while being handcuffed with her, Otacon had realized that the two of them hadn't spent an awful lot of time together, despite having a few similar interests. Not only that, but Jane seemed genuinely interested in the world of the 'future', and movies. There was so much Halie wanted to show her friend.]

[As the 24 hours had passed by, Halie had left a little note for her friend asking her out to see a movie, considering Jane had suggested that while they had spoken. In heightened spirits, the nerd had puttered out and was waiting in the lobby outside of the theatre. She had some popcorn and drinks in her hands, waiting for Jane to arrive.]

[Hm?

Wolf takes a quick glance around the room, she had that strange feeling that she was being watched. It was enough to put her on guard.]

[Otacon flusters more and tries to keep her eyes from glancing over, once Wolf lifts her head. She feels her toes curling into her shoes, embarassed for unknown reasons.]

[The feeling is not yet gone so Wolf takes a slower look around the room, her gaze idly picking out other faces. She spots the crazy Russian lady, is that Solid Snake? And--

Ah.

One Halie Emmerich.]

Halie?

[!!!]

[Halie attempts to calm herself. She regally rights herself, keeping her eye on Wolf now that their eyes have met. She can't look away, even if she wanted to.]

Wolf--!

[Wolf scoots off of her seat and quickly makes her way to Halie, popcorn in hand.]

Are you waiting for somebody? You looked awful lonely. Even the wolves become restless without company.

[Raven would be proud.]

Ah... Well, I was waiting for a friend of mine, but--

[Halie eyes that popcorn, and then lifts her head to get a better look at Wolf. Her knees were quivering.]

_{I'm okay, now you're here.}

Was? Please tell me they did not abandon you.

[She tilts her head the slightest at that look and lifts the popcorn up a touch. Hearing Halie's voice drop has Wolf doing the same.]

I am glad to hear that. If you ever need me do not hesitate to ask, okay?

No... I mean--

They haven't arrived yet. I'm sure she's just busy or something...

[The dip in Wolf's voice seems to get a shiver out of Halie. She swallows thickly, nodding feverently. Could her face get any hotter?]

_{O-Of course. The same goes for you too.}

Oh, thank goodness for that. It would be terribly rude to have such a lovely lady waiting. If you want I could stick around until she arrives?

[?

Is she alright? She doesn't look too good...]

Once again I am glad to here that.

[She gives Halie a warm smile.]

We don't have to stand... I mean, the movie will probably be starting soon, and I think that's Jane's girlfriend up there. [She gestures to Ivanya.]

... I mean, you know... If you want me to sit with you. [She averts her eyes, adjusting her glasses in a typical Otacon fashion.]

Er... right. It would be best to sit down.

[Her eyebrow raises a tad.]

She's a strange girl, pestered me for food once. There is something that I like about her however.

I would not disagree to sit with you. I enjoy your company~

She seems nice enough, but I can't really understand much of what she's saying.

[Wolf had a much nicer voice, anyway. Something about it... It got to her, and made her flush, but she settled down in the seats, waiting for the other woman to sit as well.]

R-Really? You do?

Ah, so I am not the only one. I actually had to swap to Russian just to understand her.

[Hn... Wolf cannot help but notice now how flustered Halie was. But she will not mention it. She sits down and leans back on the chair, it was surprisingly comfortable.]

Of course I do! There is no reason for me to dislike your company and it's good getting to talk to you.

I'm not very good with languages. I only know a little Japanese, and that's from watching anime and listening to the music.

[Halie rests her hands in her lap, stealing small glances every now and again of the beautiful woman beside her. Her cheeks tinged just that bit darker.]

I really miss spending time with you... Like we did on Shadow Moses, I mean. Are your huskie-wolves here?

While I was with Saladin he instructed me in Russian. It came in handy considering a lot of FOXHOUND speak Russian, it's good to know.

[Again she notices Halie's actions but Wolf will not call her out on them. The poor girl would probably die off.]

Though you may not be the Hal I know, I must admit that I do miss your company. Those times feeding the wolf-dogs were the only good memories to come from that place. [She tilts her head in thought.] The Shadow Moses room still has a few dogs running about. I have not fed them in a while~

The only Russian I know is how to say yes and no, and in some cases... That's actually helped.

[The majority of FOXHOUND scared her still, but they were better company than Gray Fox at least.]

Yeah... The Wolf of my time is male, but as I said to the male Snake; we're still the same people, just different genders-- Shadow Moses room?

[That perks her up!]

Even the slightest knowledge of a language can have its perks. Maybe one day you could be fluent in a second language?

[That's a pity, they are lovely once you get to know them. Gray Fox is a bit of an asshole but he's fine too.]

I suppose that is the case but there are some quirks that comes with the gender. [She gives a light chuckle.]

I am surprised you have not heard of it! I always seem to run into Hal when I am there. If you want we could feed the dogs later?
