[This Snake has not been feeling so fantastic. His head has been feeling pretty pressured by whatever the hell it was that had poisened the air.]

[All he knew was that his body was really hot, and he had a temperature. Not to mention... he was suddenly pretty damn sensitive. But because he was so stubborn, he wasn't going to give into the demands of his body. He hadn't been into much contact with anyone, really, and prefered it to stay that way. At least... until this died down.]

[So he had decided to hide away in the box room. Probably not the best solution, but it wasn't like he had a specific room to sleep in, let alone hide away.]

_{Maybe I should have gone somewhere colder.}

[Ah well. At least the compact safety-space of the box was keeping his mind from wandering.]

[Snake pushes the box up over his head a little, peering down at the white box. He cocks a brow, before reaching to open it.]

*goes in the box room and sniffing a familiar scent*

(Hmm?.....It's one of them..)

*Looks around and stops to see the box where Snake is in*

[Noticing that his box was moving, and there was a familiar sniffing around the outside, Snake warily lifted the box up to watch the paws pacing about.]

Hnh... you've come to hide too?

*tilts head and has no idea what's goin on.*

... Hide from the heat.

[He breathed out an irritated sigh, stroking the pup.]

[He peaks into the room, and grins when it appears to be empty.]

/Wow, first time I have looked here without seeing any Snakes! Finally, I can do what I've been wanting to do for so long./

[He pulls out a small book of matches.]

/Boxes, it is time to burn./

[Snake isn't immediately sure who it was that walked into the room. He was on the furthest side, regardless, and so he kept very still when the voice filled the room.]

[He lights a match and tosses it at a large pile of boxes, then leans against the wall to watch.]

/Take your time, boxes, I have all night./

[Jack looks up at you with extremely sad rabbit eyes. Nooo... Why are you burning my friends? He hops closer to the burning boxes.]

Hi rabbit! What is wrong? You should get out before you have too much smoke.

[Did it suddenly get hotter in here?]

[Like an unbreakable bond, Snake suddenly felt a strange pang in his chest. Something was VERY WRONG WITH HIS BOXES.]

[He tugged it up over his head when he began to scent smoke.] What the hell--!

...IS THAT A SNAKE OVER THERE?

[His hand reaches for a tranquilizer gun as he looks around, unable to see very well at all due to the smoke.]

[Liquid senses something.]

[Something about that box.... he just wants to kick it.]

[Hard.]

[So he does!]

[GRUNT.]

[Snake attempts to scuttle off with the box over him.]

[Snake abruptly stops scuttling, once he finds a group of boxes.]

[Fem!Fury entered the room and upon seeing the boxes begins to explore and search for things, like rations and medical supplies, to stock up on.]

[Snake has never met any versions of the Fury, and so he stays very quiet, if not for a faint rustle now and again whenever he shifts inside his box.]

[Snake hears the voice getting closer, and so he shuffles across the floor. In his box. Hoping that the intruder wouldn't spot him.]
