[One of the older Hal's has decided to take a wander around the nexus. He has a complex look on his face, hidden in his eyes, and only those that knew him deep down would know that he was indeed in a thought provoking state of mind.
He is contemplating various things, mostly about his life back at home and wondering if anything would change due to the circumstances here. He ponders the older Sunny he has met here in comparison to the younger one from his timeline, along with his salt and peppered Snake that he missed. Not that he didn't enjoy the older David, by any means. Both of them in fact. He was very fond of them, and held a great love for them that he couldn't quite put into words.
Truth be told, he missed his life at home. He wondered things that probably everyone here did; did time stop? Would the Snake of his time, along with Sunny, join him here eventually? Or was this something he was meant to face alone? Were they safe? Was he dead?
It got to Hal more than he cared to admit. It made him feel physically sick that something might be happening back at his time that meant Snake and Sunny might be in danger. They were a package, after all. Without one, the other couldn't function.
Hal had found himself at a room that was both very familiar, and very alien to him. The replica of Shadow Moses was perfection. The snowy reminicents of a past he both detested and held close to his heart. While it had been a difficult time in his life, he wouldn't change it for the world. It was here, after all, where he formed the strongest bond of his life, where he finally realized his importance, that he was needed.
Of course, there were other reasons why he felt so fond about this place. While Wolf had never been 'his', he always held a soft spot in his heart for her, and always would. He looked back on how pathetic his former self was, and realized just how much he had changed and developed as a person... as a human being.
Stepping inside, Hal felt his feet crunch against the crisp, untainted snow. He breathed in the cold air, huddling up into his coat. His gloved hands curled up slowly, clenching the leather material into the palm of his hand.]
This feels like home...
((ooc: Feel free to poke him, or just wander around yourself. c: He probably won't be very talktative.))

Hey.
[He quickly lunges forward, trying to toss her off by sending her flying backwards over his head.]
no subject
[Totally whistling casually. Messing around like this almost makes the fact that this is a replica of Shadow Moses A-ok.]

[They both hit the ground and she grunts at the weight on her leg and the impact.]
I hope you weren't expecting me to be gentle...
no subject
I'm glad you weren't planning to be.

[He cracks his knuckles and watches her carefully.]

[She keeps an eye on him, not moving an inch and body at the ready.]

But it takes 3 days to come back.
no subject
[Pause]
...If I'm wrong then... well, what's three days, right?
no subject
[She thinks.]
Let's go with the first one.
Basic three lives?
no subject
[Of course I was stupid enough to die right before that sex virus...]
Sure, three lives are fine. You ready?
no subject
Ready as I'll ever be.
[She never slipped out of that stance.]
no subject
Alright.
[Suddenly a booming voice from nowhere announces the beginning of the fight.]
[Snake rushes forward immediately, aiming a CQC kick to Femme's head.]
no subject
[Oh shi- DUCKS!]
[She ducks the kick and slips under his leg. She grabs him around the ankle, steps back, and yanks. HARD.]
no subject
[Hmm... she moves a lot like Samus in her zero-suit.]
[...]
[COME ON SNAKE, FOCUS!]
[He pushes himself to his feet and rushes forward again, this time pulling her into a choke hold.]
no subject
[Oh hellz nah, he did not just take her greeting.]
[She decides on her normal method of getting out of a choke hold.]
[She stomps hard on his foot, rams her elbow into his stomach then slams her head backwards into his face.]
no subject
[And hellz yeah, he just did!]
[The stomp and elbow hit their marks, but he moves his head away just in time to avoid having his nose smashed in.]
[Damage: 20%]
!
[He grabs her slams her against the ground before backing away a bit.]
no subject
[She grunts whens she hits the ground, racking her damage up to 15%.]
[She pulls herself back up and slips back into her stance, creeping closer and closer until... LUNGE!]
no subject
[He quickly tosses it near her and rushes back to a safe distance.]
no subject
[She knows better then to stick around when she sees him chuck something at her. She dives to the side then tucks and rolls managing to avoid the explosion.]
Grenades?!
no subject
[He pulls out another and bites out the pin before tossing right next to her.]
Now it's grenades.
no subject
[She sights a nearby platform and jumps for it, pulling herself up and huddling in a corner to avoid shrapnel.]
[Then she takes out one of her own grenades and chucks it at him. Have fun with your frag! 8D]
no subject
[He quickly pulls out a third grenade and chucks it at Femme's, causing them to explode on impact.]
Love when that happens.
