[One of the older Hal's has decided to take a wander around the nexus. He has a complex look on his face, hidden in his eyes, and only those that knew him deep down would know that he was indeed in a thought provoking state of mind.

He is contemplating various things, mostly about his life back at home and wondering if anything would change due to the circumstances here. He ponders the older Sunny he has met here in comparison to the younger one from his timeline, along with his salt and peppered Snake that he missed. Not that he didn't enjoy the older David, by any means. Both of them in fact. He was very fond of them, and held a great love for them that he couldn't quite put into words.

Truth be told, he missed his life at home. He wondered things that probably everyone here did; did time stop? Would the Snake of his time, along with Sunny, join him here eventually? Or was this something he was meant to face alone? Were they safe? Was he dead?

It got to Hal more than he cared to admit. It made him feel physically sick that something might be happening back at his time that meant Snake and Sunny might be in danger. They were a package, after all. Without one, the other couldn't function.

Hal had found himself at a room that was both very familiar, and very alien to him. The replica of Shadow Moses was perfection. The snowy reminicents of a past he both detested and held close to his heart. While it had been a difficult time in his life, he wouldn't change it for the world. It was here, after all, where he formed the strongest bond of his life, where he finally realized his importance, that he was needed.

Of course, there were other reasons why he felt so fond about this place. While Wolf had never been 'his', he always held a soft spot in his heart for her, and always would. He looked back on how pathetic his former self was, and realized just how much he had changed and developed as a person... as a human being.

Stepping inside, Hal felt his feet crunch against the crisp, untainted snow. He breathed in the cold air, huddling up into his coat. His gloved hands curled up slowly, clenching the leather material into the palm of his hand.]

This feels like home...

((ooc: Feel free to poke him, or just wander around yourself. c: He probably won't be very talktative.))

[Furrows his brow.] At rest...?

[He rocks back on his heels] Things, huh. That means something is on your mind you don't want to tell me about. At least not yet.

[Snake sighs and glances off into the distance.] I try not to think about it.

But--[he glances back] With the multiples of people here and no evidence that anyone from our... times are looking for us. Makes me think there's another uh--'me' living out the rest of my life.

[shrugs] wishful thinking I guess.

Yeah. Give or take. He doesn't have-- [he brings a finger up and draws over the scarred side of his face.]

[He goes silent for a time then-]

They can get along without me. Not like I was gonna be around much longer anyway.
