[A rarely-seen David is meandering through the halls, opening doors at random. Earlier that day the Nexus had decided to be "cute" and make the bed linens vanish from everyone's beds. And the linen closets from the halls, apparently. Which is why Solid Snake is looking for where all the damn sheets went.]

[And he found them.]

[Strung up throughout the first floor lobby are the bedsheets of everyone in the Nexus. Unfortunately, the Nexus has made some minor...alterations. The sheets have been personalized with the cartoon pattern of things that identify who they may belong to.]

[David grimaces as he catches sight of his own maligned sheets. As he inspects the frolicking cartoon huskies, he wonders if perhaps he should just go without.]

[Dammit Liquid, he's got his hands full and he doesn't want to drop his sheets and need to wash them all over again.]

[Liquid lifts the sheet off Snake's front so he can smirk in his face.]

Closer. Gorgeous I will accept.

[Liquid might be quick enough to catch Solshine rolling his eyes at his brother's unending self-importance.]

[Flatly] Gorgeous. Of course. Whatever could I have been thinking?

[sarcasm deflects off Liquid's arrogance with a poing]

[He raises an eyebrow]

Are you going to take this off me now?

[Liquid whisks the sheet away]

Hn...Notice I didn't specify what I wanted off.

[Solid smiles innocently at Liquid and start walking down the hall, heading towards his room.]

[Liquid just happens to be going in the same direction.]

I haven't seen you for a while. Have you been hiding from me?

[Good to know that some things never change.]

Been keeping to myself, mostly. Checking out some of the unexplored areas of the Nexus.

[As they reach the room and Snake jostles the door open]

[he leans close as Snake opens the door so he can whisper in his ear]

[Something wicked flashes in David's eyes.]

[He allows Liquid to enter first, then shuts the door. The cartoonized bedding is quickly dropped on a chair and Solid stalks forward purposely, his gaze suddenly hot as coals.]

Oh yes, I missed you...I missed you very much.

[He pulls Liquid into a fiery kiss, practically ravaging the other man's mouth. Then he slams his fist into Liquid's wonderfully exposed belly.]

[Being in the sudden, sharp focus of Snake's attention is mesmerizing.]

[Liquid grabs onto him and kisses back fiercely. Snake's desire pours over him and sends sweet fire through his veins.]

[It does not even occur to him to be on guard.]

[Pain flares in his stomach and his breath vanishes.]

[He counters by throwing an elbow toward Snake's throat]

[Expecting retaliation, Solid blocks the blow and uses the opening to headbutt Liquid.]

[It's been far too long since his last fight. The need for battle thrums in his body and he growls low in his throat.]

C'mon, Brother...show me what you're really made of!

[Liquid's eyes light. The kiss has woken him and filled him with the thrum of adrenaline.]

Gladly, dear Brother!

[He sways back to avoid the headbutt and snaps a vicious kick at Snake's midsection]

[The blow connects and he Liquid wins a grunt. Solid moves in close with a flurry of punches, determined not to allow Liquid the space he needs to dodge and charge.]

[Liquid grins with feral joy.]

[Snake is fast- he's driven back, and takes a hard blow on the chin. He retaliates with a knee]

[That's going to leave a pretty bruise.]

[He turns to lessen the force of the strike, then moves to catch the other man in a headlock.]

[Liquid is caught. He attempts to elbow his way free[

[He can't defend himself well in this position. Liquid manages to break away from the hold.]

[Solid is breathing heavily as he shifts into a defensive stance.]

[Snake in the full heat of battle is a beautiful sight]

[Liquid charges straight at him for a tackle.]
