[All good things]
....Ilsa?
[She only stepped out for a moment... It couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. Where did they go?? That pink, inflatable ball that the two girls were just tossing back and forth to each other now sits stationary in the middle of her apartment's floor. Even more daunting- Ilsa hasn't finished the cup of peach-slices that her mother just gave her a few moments ago. The girl's may have a lot of energy, but they'd never just run out of the room like that. Elisa's heart began to pound as she couldn't help but assume the worst.]
Orsa??
[On the verge of panic, Elisa began running down the hallway of her floor- peering in all directions for her suddenly-missing children. But eventually.... she stops. The girl breathes deeply; trying to give this rational thought. Somewhere inside, she knows that her two daughters are gone now... But what she knows and what she accepts are 2 very different things. There has to be SOMETHING she isn't thinking of...]
[...Oh! That room! She'll simply go back into that room she found them in; and everything will be fine, right? ...But after the medic dashes as quickly as her body would take her to the Parent Room, she stepped inside to see... no one. Not a single child.]
.....
[They're gone for good, aren't they?]
[And just like that; the dream of finally having her own family again is shattered. Those two beautiful girls she came to know and love in such short time are both gone... She can physically feel her heart breaking at the realization. A sudden, very sharp pain in the medic's head knocks her back into reality- but it's that pain throbbing in her chest that feels much much worse. One hand covers her heart as she crumbles to the floor; tears streaming down her cheeks as she begins sobbing openly. Her body trembles and the light bulbs in this area around her burst, shattering shards of glass. But Elisa remains unaware. All she can really register is that very deep pain felt throughout her entire body.]

...Hey, lady?

[Elisa just clutches her head as it throbs painfully, and continues to cry; hunched over on the floor]
no subject
You okay?

[Raiden scratched the side of his face, a bit confused.]
Are you afraid of the dark...?
no subject
[Congrats, you have momentarily gotten Elisa to stop crying as she gives you a direct, sidelong glance. The bad news is that you are kind of close to being Ursula'd right now.]
[The voice that speaks is slightly lower than her own, natural tone. That's probably a bad sign. This isn't good...]
[Before something bad happens, Elisa decides it would be best if she get out of this public hallway and away from innocent people who may only want to do good.]
I'm leaving... [The girl struggles to her feet while she still retains a scrap of her sanity]

[Oh...he couldn't just leave all that broken glass there. Maybe if he swept it up...?]
[It was in his search for a broom closet that he came across Elisa; and Otacon could hardly leave a crying woman alone. Careful of the shards of glass, he knelt down beside her with a smile.]
Hey...come on, don't cry. It'll be okay.
no subject
[She only knew them for a matter of days; but Elisa does literally feel like a mother who has just lost both of her children.]
[Somewhere in the midst of all her strangled sobs, one may or may not hear a simple 'no' to Otacon's words in response.]
no subject
...what's wrong? It's okay, you can trust me.
no subject
.....
['Trust' is not really the issue here. She can barely think clearly, let alone get into detail about her problems. Elisa does attempt to give proper response though.]
[Choosing to first address the more immediate (and possibly dangerous) issue] M-My head...It... it... hurts... so much...!
[Elisa suddenly clamps one of her hands over his-tightly. The hand trembles somewhat as she tries dealing with the pain in her head. Using the direct contact for telepathy, the girl is able to give a clear and direct response- right into Hal's mind.]
[Elisa lets go of his hand and falls forward a bit as the act of telepathy took good amount of strength away from her body. She desperately gasps for air; breathing alone is made more difficult by her continued sobbing.]
no subject
[Geez, shades of Mantis...only much less creepy. Either way, this girl needed help and Otacon wouldn't dare ignore that.]
R-r-right. I understand--wait here. I'll be right back.
[He stood up and dashed off, stumbling slightly as he did. Finding the infirmary and cabinet in question was simple, but he fumbled for a minute or two looking for the bottle she wanted.]
..come on, it has to be one of these--ah, here we go.
[Otacon found the bottle of aspirin and took three pills from it, taking a bottle of water that sat nearby before rushing back to Elisa.]
Here. Sorry for making you wait.

[The medic drinks the contents of the water bottle silently, not stopping until she has finished all of it.]

Lets angst together!
[There's a similar torn feeling in her heart as her son was ripped from her. She might not have given birth to him, but she loved him like a mother.]
[Her eyes caught on the hunched form of the woman in the room and her heart ached for her, knowing what she had to be going through, if the same thing happened to her.]
[Quietly she approached the woman. She wants to say something but there are tears streaming down her own cheeks. And what can you say to a mother who lost her child?]
\o/
[There's really nothing to say. But Elisa just wipes her eyes and tries to compose herself anyway; despite the fact that those tears keep falling.]

It's alright to cry. Don't try to bottle it up...
[Her voice trembles. She's trying to be strong to help the younger woman but... god it was hard.]
no subject
I have to... I have to try...
[Most of the time, Elisa allows herself to be openly emotional. But when she's in this kind of state... it's best for everyone if she just finds some way to keep it all inside. Drugs help, most of the time.]
no subject
Do you need anything?
no subject
E-Extra strength Aspirin... 5 milligrams of Diazepam... or 2 milligrams of Clonazepam.... Or all of that, I- I don't know...
[The girl continues to cry] P-please hurry...

(takes place after Otacon gives her drugs 8U)
[Making his way to the Parent Room, he enters and looks for the medic.]

[Those 3 large, extra-strength pills definitely did their job of easing that pain in her head. Elisa's mind feels very foggy as she sits in the room upon a large couch by herself; occasionally sniffling but silent for the most part.]
[The girl is feeling nice and drugged up- as she should be, on those extremely rare occasions when she's in that dangerous mental state- So she doesn't even sense Fox approaching as she normally would. Elisa just sits on the couch, staring out at nothing in particular with wet cheeks.]
no subject
[Fox murmurs the name as he catches sight of the girl, crossing over to the couch in a few quick strides. He takes note of her reddened eyes and the tears staining her cheeks and he crouches down in front of her, trying to get a better look at her.]
...What happened?
no subject
[Elisa still holds a somewhat distant look in her eyes, though she's definitely fully aware right now. The girl isn't 'out of it', just... detached. Or trying to be.]
[She gets that bad feeling in her chest again, for a slight moment, but then it is mostly gone once more] ...They're gone, Frank... Both of them... They just disappeared...
[A couple more tears flow down her cheeks and get absorbed into the fabric of her lab coat.]

Timelines are for wusses
[The sight of the weeping woman was enough to convince him that he would not be able to speak to Faruq again. Staring at the empty room, he leans heavily on the wall, numb from disappointment and painkillers.]
