Some cats like water
[Living an honest lifestyle had its downfalls, this old Ocelot was starting to see. Having lied his way through the majority of his life was comfortable enough for him, but now that he had jeprodized two important relationships from being honest and truthful, he was finding it incredibly hard to see the hype. At least when he worked as a triple agent, he managed to gain trust easier and almost always got his way. It was easier to lie. He never imagined that being truthful and not hiding the past would be painful.
Rather than looking for someone to fight to rid the flurry of emotions inside, Ocelot had made his way out into the cruise room. He was standing on the deck of his boat, hands braced on the railings. Being out in the open with the sea wind wipping about his hair made him forget momentarily just how alone he felt in this world.
However, part of him knows that he won't be alone for very long. Entering a room like this usually attracted attention, so he has set up a buffet on the lower deck, along with a bar for cocktails and some lawn chairs were sprawled out should any female company decide to get a tan under the sun.]

[He whispers the words into Adam's ear, softly.]

Unless... you want me... to go?
[He sounds hesitant.]
I don't want to lose you.
no subject
I don't want you to go. I simply am finding it hard to believe that anyone would willingly want to remain by my side.
no subject
It may be hard to believe, but I don't want to go. I enjoy being with you.

[He sighed out a moan of relief, his fingers curling tightly into the fabric of George's shirt.]

I told you I wanted to work through this. I wasn't lying. You are important to me.
no subject
And you are important to me. We will try and make this work.
no subject
You don't know how glad I am to hear that.
no subject
Oh George... You look like Hell. What were you doing last night?
no subject
...ah. Things just got a little much, that's all. After what happened with us I thought I could work through it myself but then Solid called and it turned out one of the Liquids had been murdered - the sane one. We got into an argument and he pulled his gun on me, so I left. I ended up drinking a little and got attacked by a psychotic version of Jack. I had to call Vamp to help me out or else you would have been talking to my ghost right now. And it's probably obvious I haven't slept.
[He feels rather humiliated. How stupid he'd been to put himself in that vulnerable state...]

All in one evening? That is incredibly bad timing.

[His hand idly strokes through Ocelot's hair, soothingly.]
no subject
Do you require any assistance? I would be willing to give them something to think about.
[He certainly wouldn't mind putting one of them through interogation again.]
no subject
[He sounds a little bitter about that.]
That version of Jack is definitely not from our world. He's completely psychotic. One of the cyborg ones. He apparently hadn't been here long; he thought I was dead and when he realised I wasn't he tried to make it a reality.

[He soothingly continues to rub his palm along George's shoulder and around to the back of his neck, squeezing the tense area.]
Little bastard. He will go through me before I will allow him to get to you.
no subject
[He rubs his throat, where the metal boot had been cutting off his air supply. Adam's hand is making him relax even more.]
I don't know what to do about David. He's driving me mad.
no subject
[He can see a small mark there on his neck. He frowned slowly, inspecting it with his thumb.]
I can speak to him if you wish.
no subject
Sorry. My throat's a little sensitive right now. He tried to cut off my breathing with his foot.
[The last part makes him frown.] I don't think that's a good idea. I'll wait for him to cool off then give him a call.
no subject
Don't even think about apologizing. Everything looks fine from here.
[A smirk appears on his face.] Oh~ But I love handling a feisty Snake. I happen to be excelent at taming them.
The option is there should you decide to take me up on the offer.
no subject
If you encounter him, feel free to try, but don't seek him out. He's pretty angry. He still seems to be set on the idea that everyone who was his enemy outside is still his enemy here.

[He drops his hand from George's neck and slowly moves up from his lap. He grabs his vodka, drinking another few mouthfuls from his glass.]
no subject
[He misses the feeling of Ocelot on his lap.]
no subject
John feels exactly the same way. He would not approve of me getting involved in family affairs.
[He pinches the bridge of his nose.]
