[April 30th, the day she was assigned to "accidentally" run into the man Jack Brannigan. She checked herself in the mirror, making sure she looked like the blonde-haired, blue-eyed bombshell that Jack's psyche report said he liked in a woman. She knew it was her expertise in information analysis and psychology that earned her this job, but she wasn't naive enough not to know that it was partly given to her because she was an attractive female. Couldn't exactly do what she's trying to do if she was a man.]

[Smoothing out her modest-but-still-sexy dress, she nodded, satisfied. It was time to do her job. The word "spy" didn't sit well for her, she was just another woman trying to make a career for herself.]

[However, when she stepped off of the elevator in her apartment complex, intending to head to Federal Hall where she knew the dark haired Jack would be at about this time, she blinked in surprised as she suddenly wasn't standing on the very familiar lobby, but rather a long, white hallway.]

...Did I hit the wrong floor?

[She turned around but... the elevator was nowhere to be seen.]

[He moves a little closer, looking her over with interest. The Rose he lives with is brunette, but they certainly do share some features.]

I'm Raven. I think I know you.

[She looks at him apprehensively as he gets closer.]

Raven? I... don't think I know any Ravens, I'm sorry.

Well not you, a different you.

[He halts just before entering into her personal space.]

Are you into psychology?

[She spoke carefully, watching him.]

She looks like you but is a little older and has brown, short hair. She's dating Mantis, one of my unitmates.

[He shrugs.]

She's also into psychology, but she's not very good. She makes me angry a lot, and I can't really control myself when I'm angry.

[She stares a little. Yeah, he's sounding a lot crazier.]

Well... Rose is a fairly common name, I'm not surprised if someone shares it...

I guess that could just be it, but I've met a lot of doubles so it's always worth asking.

Are you also terrible at cooking?

[Well that's kind of rude to whoever that other Rose was.]

No, I don't think I am...

Maybe you aren't her then. Although she doesn't think she's terrible either.

[He chuckles.] Well I'm pretty bored right now, so do you want me to show you anywhere?

Well considering we're different people, I doubt I would be her...

[She shrugs. She still thinks he's pretty crazy, but the last thing she wants is to be left alone in this insane place.]

I don't know... is there anything interesting to see?

I wouldn't be so quick to doubt around here.

[He pauses, thinking about what someone like Rose would find interesting.]

...I don't know, what kinds of things do you like?

Umm..

[She thought, running a hand through her hair absentmindedly.]

I still don't have a place to live here. Could you help me find one?

Yeah, sure.

[And unlike Mantits, he isn't going to invite every living thing he comes across to live with them... not like there's any room even if he wanted to.]

You'll probably want a room around the 8th floor or higher. Lower than that, and you'll be up all night with the people walking around.

[She nods.]

Alright. Um... what floor are we on right now?

We're only on the second floor. I think it would be easier if we took an elevator...

[He pauses, looking at the space where she'd appeared from.]

...one that doesn't disappear afterward.

[With that, he turns around and starts leading her down the hall to one of the permanent elevators.]

Do rooms often disappear in this place?

[She followed after him, looking all around at their surroundings.]
