Back from the dead (not really XD)
[Ultimately, Raikov was right.
There was no way out of that place. She tried to find it for the past two, three months? She lost count, really. Although, time really didn't seem to matter in that place. She wondered if things were still on their tracks in the real world. If they were, her absence was, more or less, good. After all, no Sokolov meant no Shagohod. She was only worried about her family, but they would be able to go on without her for a while. At least, she hoped they would.
She was trying not to think about that too hard though. She was just trying to live her life in that place the best way she could. Lately, she didn't cross paths with anyone that was worth talking to. It was strange to stay 'alone' like that for so long, but she was used to that. After all, designing rockets and missiles isn't exactly the most 'socially rewarding job on the face of earth. She met some people here and there, but she never really had any strong bonds in her career, except for when she met Granin for the first time. When they were still friends and she didn't 'shine' more than him.
Walking down one of the corridors, she sighed, taking a look around. It seemed like it has been forever since she talked to someone else. Any type of conversation would do her good though. Thinking to herself was starting to get annoying.]

Heh. Haven't seen you around in awhile.

Oh, it's you.
I've been... really busy. [She wasn't going to tell him she was trying to do something impossible and just tell the enemy that he was right from the very beginning.]
His favorite person to be an asshole to!
[He smirks.]
Nice to know you missed me!
[She's trying her best to 'ignore' the last part of what he said.]
But if you must know, I was busy trying to make some sense out of this place. That really didn't work as I planned...

What about you? Did you have any interesting adventure?

Oh yes. I finally ran into the Colonel, but he's one that looks like me. We're living together now with another man. Life has been good~
[HAVE SOME UNWANTED MENTAL IMAGES.]

Mr. Raikov, I knew you were strange, but that's a little bit too over the top, even for you.
Did you really have to give me all this information?
no subject
[He smirks.]
What's wrong? It's nothing the Colonel and I haven't done all over Groznyj Grad. In fact this one time in your lab-

[She's both shocked and disgusted by that. God only knows what type of thing they did there when she was away. She isn't even going to try to imagine that or she'll be scarred for life.]

Hey, it's the most action your desk would see in it's lifetime, Lady.

[She adjusted her monocle a little. She couldn't believe she was about to say that...]
Look here, I might not be as... active as you and your friends, but at least I have the discretion of doing things between the walls of my bedroom.

[He shrugs. Suddenly the conversation isn't as much fun.]
Hey, whatever works for you.

What's the matter? Was that 'too much' for you?

You gave me a terrible mental image and I just wanted to pay you the same way. I'm not expecting you to dig into my private life!

That couldn't be... Or could it be?
