I'll drink to that!
[If there's something Raye likes more than bossing people around, this thing has to be drinking.
Sure, sure. Duck told her that those rooms were weird, but that bar seemed innocent enough, so, she wasn't going to pass it by.
The music coming from the speakers in that room was really soft. Sitting there and drinking for some time seemed just perfect.
It would even help her forget that it might take some time for her to see Donna again. Her Donna that is. Not the innocent one walking around the corridors of that building.
So she sat there, and after some shots of vodka with lots of ice, she's feeling kinda tipsy. She's even satisfied. So she lits up a cigarette, pouring more vodka in her glass and filling it with ice again.]
(( ooc: if you want a nice talk to her, that's the time. And, look! New avvies! Now you don't have to see my ugly face no more! ))

I wouldn't worry, the worst most of them do is lock you in a room until you either complete some inane objective or are transformed into something weird.
no subject
Now, this transformation part... [That got her a little bit worried. God only knows what type of 'change' they are talkign about.]
Anyways, I couldn't help but notice, and I think you did too, that you look a lot like me. I was here wondering why.
no subject
But like hell if I know why we look so alike. I haven't ever seen you in my life. [Though something about this woman seemed really familiar.]
no subject
I imagined you knew as much as I do... Haven't seen you before either. [And she doesn't even feel anything familiar about Meryl.]
But, tell me, what's your name? I don't like talking to people without knowing who they are. It's not polite. [Not that Raye is the 'queen' of politeness, but...]
no subject
Oh, my name is Meryl Silverburgh, what about you? [Maybe if they knew more about each-other, they'd find out more about this creepy resemblance.]
no subject
My name is Raye. Raye Campbell to be exact. [She takes another sip from her drink. This glass is getting empty already...]
no subject
[She pauses for a second. Did she say Raye Campbell?]
Wait, are you related to anyone named Roy or Matt Campbell, by any chance?
no subject
[OK, Matt seems really 'close' to her sister's name. That's awkward.]
no subject
[And as the pieces are put together in her head, she stares at Raye in disbelief. Finally, she speaks up.]
This is going to sound strange, but...
I think I might be your niece. I don't know how, but you're both the wrong gender and in the wrong time.
no subject
[Now it's her turn to stare.]
And we are... The wrong gender? [This is even more confusing, but, hell, if she saw male!Donna there... There's probably a male version of her skipping around somewhere.]
Wow, now that's a shocker. [She finishes the rest of her glass in one single gulp. If she wasn't slightly drunk, she wouldn't be accepting this that easily.]
no subject
Well, Matt... er MATHILDA was my father. Last I remember, you were both men.
[And not to mention that one was dead, and the other was rather old. Man, Meryl really needed all of the alcohol she could get right now.]
no subject
So, Matty got a daughter and all I got to be an aunt. Seems fitting. [Her fingers tighten around the glass. Why Matilda always seemed to get everything easily while she had to struggle for EVERYTHING?]
We were man? So, maybe this means that my sister might have a son that looks like you? [At least, is seemed logical. If there's any way to fit logic into that place that is.]
no subject
Well, I was born in 89, so I guess he'll have a son around that time.
no subject
[She lets a soft laugh escape from her lips, as her fingers relax around the glass. She'll try not to think about that too hard.]
This place is quite full of revelations... [She pretty much fakes a smile.]
[Maybe that's happening to her so then she rethinks the way she lives? Is destiny trying to trach her a 'lesson' of some sorts? If so, it's kind of working.]
no subject
But this place is full of little surprises like that. [She's already seen what she becomes, and has to question the path she's going along herself.]
no subject
Well, now that I know the future, I might as well try and actually take my life somewhere. Didn't do a good job at it until today.
[She smiles, realizing that she never really bothered to build a solid reputation or anything like that. All she knew was to be an annoying bitch. Maybe all that is happening so then she stops being like that.]
