[There is someone new in the Nexus. He's right in the lobby, laying on his side, breathing heavily. His eyes stare sightlessly ahead as he tries to recover from what ever has knocked him so thoroughly over.]

Hard to say. Some people seem to think time freezes there while we're gone.

[...Yeah, it was pretty shocking at first. A little unsettling how quickly he had gotten used to it, too.] And I'm not the only Otacon. Can't you tell? I must look a lot younger than the one you know.

[He peers up at Hal for a moment.] I thought you were just dying it a darker shade.

[Snake is recovering quickly, moving to stand up now.]

I don't know why, but I'm more worried about my body changing.

[He laughed at that, clearly embarrassed] Nope. Just a little younger.

[Otacon stood up as well, looking confused] So you don't usually look like that...weird.

You'll always look like...[He places his hand on his chest, eyes going wide when he feels two differently timed thumps.]

Otacon, this is going to sound strange to you, but can you feel my chest for me?

Um...sure? [He puts his hand on Snake's chest and jumps back a moment later, startled]

Wh-wh-what the...?! [Two hearts? Impossible. It's just like one of his sci-fi shows]

[He's got a distinct look of "When the hell did this happen?"]

S-see, there's this show I used to watch where the main character was an alien called a Time Lord, and he called himself the Doctor and he kept regenerating into a new body when he should ahve died and he had two hearts and oh man where's your TARDIS did you leave it at home this is so cool--
