A Snake. One of many in this place, one who often keeps to himself.

Something got him out of his hole. Probably doesn't matter what. He wanders the halls restlessly. Occasionally, he opens a door to see what lies beyond. So far nothing has caught his interest. Especially when most doors lead to bad memories of places past. He sighed after awhile, finally stopping to lean against a wall and light up a cigarette.

"I've been managing." he replied with a slight smile. "Haven't seen you in a while, though...I was starting to really miss you."

"...maybe we could find something together?"

Now that he'd finally run into this Snake again, Otacon was hesitant to let him out of his sight.

"Well, um..." A brighter smile came to his face at the idea. "What kind of stuff are you looking for? I mean, there's a room for just about everything, I'm still working on a map."

Otacon blushed slightly at that, laughing nervously.

"W-well...when I need something to do, I usually dismantle a toaster and put it back together." Not like that little fact was at all helpful.

"Or...well, I've been trying to teach myself how to cook."

"Yeah, I just thought I'd mention it."

Otacon's hands went to his pockets as an embarrassed look came to his face.

"Well...no. That's why I said 'trying'."

"N-no! Well, not much..."

"...It was supposed to be an omelet. Ended up as charcoal."
