[The neck snapped easily beneath his fingers... almost too easily. With a sneer of disgust, Snake tossed the dead soldier's body aside as he continued on his way through the jungle. Where were the real challenges? At this rate, he'd be able to obtain Volgin's legacy in no time. He'd also like to take that pathetic scientist Sokolov along with him to help construct some weapons for him when the mission was over.
Boss had briefed him on the details of the legacy, and why they must have it to control the world. EVA was acting as a spy to help him, but... he was unsure of who to trust. For now, he'll maintain a healthy suspicion of his allies while destroying any enemies who dare cross his path. He had to be careful though lest his support team suspect his true motives.]
[Snake is so absorbed in his thoughts that it takes him a few seconds to realize that he's no longer in the jungle, but inside a strange building.]
...Huh?

[He stands inches away from Snake, evaluating the situation. He hadn't pulled a weapon on him, and he actually seemed pleased to see him. It couldn't be the Snake from his universe... but it could be a tolerable one.]
What are your mission objectives?

Secure Volgin's legacy with the help of EVA. We've already had out "fight".
[Completely staged of course.]

[He smirks. He likes this Snake already~]
Well, unfortunately, the mission will have to be aborted. You're in the nexus now. The legacy has no value here, although Volgin does seem to still be 'protecting' it.
[By protect, he means tell people where it is and then beat them up.]

[He was really looking forward to using that money to create high-tech, extremely fortified bases with super weapons
and poisonous hamsters.]no subject
[He frowns; reeling off the whereabouts of his unit is depressing when he doesn't even know where half of them are.]
It's enough to drive you insane.
[It had already taken its toll on Fear, who was mentally unstable in the first place.]

[Sorrow is still dead in his world so he's not sure what to make of that, but he suspects The End wouldn't be particularly useful in this building anyway.]
It shouldn't be so bad if we come up with a good enough plan. Getting everyone together should be our next step.

[Actually, the only Cobra he felt at ease with anymore was Boss.]

[Snake looks at him oddly. Since when did the Cobras ever even think about not liking each other?]
Well, it doesn't matter. He'll have to put it behind himself if we want to accomplish anything.

[He shrugs.]
He doesn't like my wife much, either. But yes, he'll have to.
[Fear realizes, however, that he's probably just going to have to be mature and apologize to both Alek and Pain.]

[The Fear is married? Now that is something Snake would never have thought would happen. The Cobras just didn't seem the types. There was no room for that kind of love with their sort of lifestyles.]
You must have been here awhile to resort to things like that.

[He pulls out a picture of LB from a pouch.]
This is my wife. Don't piss her off, or she'll probably kill you.

[Most of the time guards could be killed with little consequence. People rarely missed them.]
[Snake whistles lowly when Fear shows him the picture of his wife.] Nice. I'll keep that in mind.

[He nods.]
Don't piss off any of the other women wearing those catsuits, either. They're not mentally stable, and very dangerous.

[He pauses, taking another glance at the photo.]
I met a woman wearing one of those earlier. Said her name was Screaming Mantis. Other than being a psychic, she seemed pretty normal.

[He shrugs. He doesn't even know if they're dating, but whatever. Her reaction hinted to something going on.]
I'm still not sure of what happened to him, but I assume she found him.
