....Hm.

LB mentioned something about the Nexus having strange rooms. Ever curious, Jamila decided that she'd like to see this for herself. And so the African beauty went out to do a little exploring.

She'd eventually have to, anyway. One can only doze off in the lobby so many times... It'd be best to find a room to stay in. Upon exploring the 15th floor, Jamila comes across a room that seems particularly inviting. Plush chairs, and a wonderful scent of flowers is wafting into the hall from the open door. Her particularly sensitive and highly refined sense of smell picked this up immediately.

And so she enters. Curiosity might have killed the cat, but apparently it only undresses wolves. Suddenly the room is feeling a bit more drafty than before, as Jamila is now wearing nothing but a blue pair of panties.

"....Hm."

-Is her only reaction to this. Nudity doesn't seem to bother the woman very much, though she does raise an arm to cover her chest. Guess LB knew what she was talking about after all...

((Door's still open. Looks like someone has just found the
Naked Room again. Remember, it's a room that dissolves your outermost layer of clothing. You can leave the room at anytime, but when you enter it again, the next layer of clothing dissolves.))

Yeah, I'm fine.

Really? [He folds his arms to retain some of his own heat.] Have any questions?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[Null shakes his head.]

I believe I understand up to this point. The letter "C" still provides me some issues but as you've said, Sir, I'm positive I will memorize it in time.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Good. You'll soon see that it's really not all that difficult.

[He bites into his cigar, glancing around for a light.] Damn.

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[He takes notice of the way his commander fiddles with his cigar.]

...Did you want me to find you a match for that?

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
No, I have one. I just have to remember to replace it later.

[He reaches up into his bandanna and retrieves it, then strikes it on his eye patch to ignite the match. He brings the lit match to his cigar and lights it, taking a few much needed puffs.]

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Understood. I will be sure to remind you.

[Inches closer :|]

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Hn? What's-?

[He looks down at him and exhales a bit of cigar smoke.] Need something?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[Caught!]

[He takes an abrupt step backwards.]

No, Sir. I'm fine. Did you need anything?

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh...no, I'm good. How about you?

Cold or something?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
...

Perfect soldiers are not affected by things such a temperature. I need nothing, Sir.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Right...

[He smokes quietly and contently.] Feel free to let me know what you need when you change your mind.

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Affirmative, Sir.

As it stands, all I desire from you is your presence. I will follow any order you have for me without question.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Alright...then get over here.

[He points to a spot on the floor, right next to himself.]

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Understood.

[Obediently moves to the spot John points at, standing at attention.]

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[He looks down at him.] Warmer?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[Not about to admit that yes, he was feeling a bit chilly standing away from his commander, he glances away.]

...

A perfect soldier has no need for warmth. What his own body produces is more than enough for him to cope with.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-08 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
-You know what,

Military blankets and jackets exist for a reason; soldiers get cold, even 'perfect' ones. If you have a problem you should make an attempt to remedy it if possible. Given this current situation, sharing warmth is an acceptable solution.

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
I understand, Sir.

However, I did not wish to trouble you with anything unnecessary. I realize that you are my commander and you are to keep watch over me, however it is not to a freezing point in this room by any means. The desire for warmth is a human want, not a necessary need.

I am your perfect soldier and I must be able to endure any shift in temperature in order to serve you to the best of my ability.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:16 am (UTC)(link)

I think if you go back to your room you can get dressed again, just don't walk back in here or you'll be in the same predicament again.

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
...I cannot return to my room at this time, Sir.

If it is acceptable, I would appreciate remaining by your side a bit longer.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Okay. Why...can't you return to your room?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Because I am living with EVA in my caretaker's absence. I hold no desire to overstay my welcome with her and return to her room only when I must sleep.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh really? Why am I finding about this now?

[identity profile] stoicism.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
You've never asked before, Sir.

[identity profile] snakenbake.livejournal.com 2009-06-09 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
[Sighs] Then I'm asking now: what happened?
