On the other hand, maybe I should've stuck with Rice-a-Roni...
[In the kitchen, Otacon rolls up his shirt-sleeves and washes his hands at the sink.]
It's not really a big deal, when you think about it. I mean, mixing ingredients and monitoring chemical reactions... it's science at work. And I did okay in my college chem classes - everyone destroys a Bunsen burner or two, that's just normal. Okay, how does this go again?
[He consults a sheet of paper that he's placed on the counter next to him. In bright yellow font, it cheerily announces that it's a recipe for:
Chicken Casserole with Pasta!
Ingredients:
* 3 pounds chicken parts
* 6 slices bacon
* 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
* 1 cup sour cream
* 8 ounces macaroni or other pasta, cooked, hot
* minced parsley for garnish, optional
Preparation:
Arrange chicken, skin-side up, in a 13 X 9 X 2 - inch baking pan. Cut bacon in 2-inch lengths; place over chicken. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 45 minutes; pour off excess grease.
Combine soup and sour cream; pour over chicken. Continue baking for another 30 minutes. Transfer chicken pieces to a serving dish and mix macaroni with the mushroom-sour cream sauce. Arrange on dish with chicken. Garnish with parsley.
Serves 6.]
[He reads the recipe. And then reads it again. And then a third time.]
... what kind of chicken parts do they want?
((OOC: Help? Please?))

You're not used to cooking what you eat?
no subject
If it's from a box or a can and not anything particularly fancy, I can cook it just fine!

Is Dr. Emmerich having a problem with cooking~?

[His mouth drops open.]
S-Sniper Wolf!
[Otacon does not squeal in delight and hug Wolf as hard as he possibly can. But he very much wants to.]
You're here!

[She furrows her brow the slightest, he looks older. Not as old as the Hal she had become aquainted with however.]
How have you been Hal?
no subject
Good! I'm good!
And you? When did you get here?
no subject
That's wonderful to hear.
[She's softened up, the nexus has done good for once and she smiles warmly.]
I have been feeling fine for the most part. I got here about three or four months ago.

You've been here longer than I have. How do you like it? Quite a change from Alaska, isn't it? Not so much snow, for one.
I do wish there were more dogs here, though I think I've seen one or two around.
no subject
It's been an interesting experience, some things I could have done without learning but all in all it's been good. Every so often I do find myself missing the snow and I go to the Shadow moses room, but that just brings up bad memories now.
[She also wishes that, not enough dogs D:]
If I find some dogs then you are free to feed them with me again.
no subject
[There's never enough dogs. D:]
I'd really like that. Thanks, Wolf.
no subject
It'd be no problem, feeding the dogs with you is one memory that I can look back on and smile.

Yeah, I never really got into it myself.
