Re-evaluation

[Bogart is wandering the halls, with no particular destination in mind.  Kitchen, roof, library, doesn't matter.  The bird just needs somewhere to perch and re-evaluate his relationships with the other inhabitants of the nexus.

He hasn't encountered anybody he knows in a while, with the exception of a certain crass seagull acquaintance, and the raven is not exactly keen on seeing him again right now, considering the way their discussions always end up.]

[Squawk sure isn't going to make the first move, so he pretends not to notice and hangs on a bench arm, placing the bundle on the seat.]

[What's his deal today? This is starting to weird Bogart out a little. He chooses a slightly closer perch.]

[Squawk watches him out of the corner of his eye, but continues to preen and fake hang around.]

[The raven casually moves to the end of the bench opposite Squawk, and continues to stare at the bundle.]

[Squawk, a little less casually, tumbles off the arm onto the bench in an attempt to hop onto the seat.]

[Bogart laughs mentally at the gull's apparent clumsiness, but says nothing. He moves onto the seat as well, and prods at the bundle experimentally with one foot.]
