Okay, look, theoretically, say you were involved with a serial killer. Not involved with the killings, but... involved. Not that I am involved with one, we're speaking theoretically. You know he's a serial killer, and he's... very insane. Would you give up on trying to help him?

I suppose you're right. Part of me doesn't want to stop trying though. I seem to be the only person he really talks to. You think as a doctor, I would know that he's at the point of no return, but there's just... something that makes me constantly want to help him.
