[EVENT] He didn't make it.
...
[At the bottom of a staircase lies one last body, crumpled in a heap on the ground. He looked bruised, some joints twisted a little this way and that-probably as a result of falling down the stairs. His eyes were still wide open in fear- and his body was still warm.
Upon further inspection, one could see that he was missing his left hand- his arm lays on the ground, blood covering his labcoat. He's turned as such so that you can't quite notice, but it looked like his shirt was slashed open, and there's something on his stomach- you won't be able to see until you move him]
[And ghost!Hal? He's in the corner of the staircase, huddled in a ball, shaking. Maybe he finally got what he deserved for all his sins.]
[[I had to post this now since I'm going to be out for a good chunk of the day. Sorry guys. >:]]

HAL!
[Rushing down to the bottom of the stairs. Slipping about six stairs up, he hissed in pain as his ankle settled funny, his knees hit the ground harshly and his ribs meet stair railing. But his discomfort was the least of his worries.]
Hal.... no no nononono....Hal...
[Bending over the body, he touches the other man's right hand in a subconscious need to find a pulse. Of course one wasn't there. Gently closing Hal's eyes, Pliskin proceeds to scooping up the beaten body as he sits on the stairs. Burying his face in hair matted down by blood, holding tightly onto him while muttering curses, apologies and questions that fall on deaf ears.]

[A piece of paper falls to the ground, unnoticed for the time being]
[Ghost!Hal looked over at him.. oh, god, Snake!
Even if it wasn't his Snake- he slowly got up, and sat behind him, wrapping his arms around Snake's]
Don't cry for me, Snake. Please..
Snake dosen't cry. >8^/
...What? [A stray finger brushes over the wound, Pliskin sees it and then the note. Picking it up while holding Hal up with the other, he reads it and a what feels like a giant chunk of ice drops into his stomach.]
Oh, christ...
Hal feels his sekrit emotions. On the /inside/....-wait.

[His eyes dart from Otacon's body over to his ghost form.]

Hal!
[He rushs up to him to see if he's alive... even knowing he's not.] Hal!

[He's quite dead]
[His ghostly self places a hand on his shoulder] I'm sorry..
Not his Otacon, but it is an Otacon
OTACOOOOOOOOOOON
[Slumps to the ground.] I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.
I wasn't good enough.
:(
Snake..

[Then something on Otacon's stomach catches his eye.]

[Liquid glimpses the body]
Hal?
[He looks so small and pitiful]
[He rushes to the body, already knowing it's too late]
[he stands above it]
[there's nothing on his face but cold rage]

[Hal the friendly ghost looks at him with wide eyes]

What. In the hell?!
[It was a hand. A left hand, to be exact.]
Oh my god...
[Natalia reaches for her radio and calls Alek.]
Alek...you didn't happen to find a body anytime today, did you? I...I think I just found somebody's hand...
[Taking out the hand, she placed it on the table. Somehow, she didn't feel hungry any longer.]
no subject
Y-yes... I am at the scene now. W-where did you find the hand?
[He's feeling a bit not hungry as well at the moment.]
