Let's all hope Snake likes cake...
Jackie is currently in the kitchen, just finishing up making a cake.
She's still stuck as Rikku, since it hasn't exactly been a day.
Ever since she, well, punched Snake in the face and broke his nose, she had been thinking of something to make it up to him, and what better way then food!
Little known fact: Jackie can cook. Well, of course she hasn't cooked in a long while since, well, you know. Just hope her skills aren't rusty, Snake!

Snake likes cake
Hrnn. [Rubs his chin; he's extra cautious as of late.]
That smells tasty. [spoken from the doorway.] What kind of cake is that?

She smiled.
"It's marble cake. I'm about to put icing on it. What kind do you like? Chocolate or vanilla? Or maybe you want vanilla with a color?"
She keeps on babbling.
Thinking, Thinking...
Marble cake? Who's the cake for?
[He stands with his right hand on his waist and his left hand rubbing his freshly-shaven chin.]

"Well, I wanted to make it up to you somehow... so I made you a cake!"

[Points to himself with his left hand.]

She smiled happily.

She grabbed her bowl of chocolate icing (that she made from scratch), and started to ice the cake.
"Hm. I hope this is good. I haven't cooked in awhile since... well, you know. I never felt the need to since... I can't exactly eat anything."
She laughed nervously.

"Yeah, I think it'll be okay. I use to bake all the time when... Rose use to come over. She always use to say I made really good cakes. I always thought I wasn't that great, at anything really, but maybe that was just me.
She was... like my sister, you know?"

"Hey I know what you're thinking! Because Rose couldn't cook, you're going to judge me on that! Don't be such a jerk!"

She rolled her eyes and continued to ice the cake.
After a few seconds, she finished.
"...And there we go! All done!"
She smiled.

"Do you want it a little cold, as in put it in the fridge for a bit, or would you like it now?"

She walked over to one of the cabinets and pulled out a plate, then over to the silverware drawer to get a fork. She then took a knife from the knife holder and went back to the cake, placing the plate and fork neatly on the countertop.
"How big would you like it?"

Not too big; about a couple inches thick. [That's small to him.]

She cut him a slice and delicately placed it onto the plate. She laid the fork next to the cake on the plate carefully and held out the plate for him.
"There you go! I hope it's good!"
She smiled happily.

[Cuts off a bite-sized piece with said fork and carefully eats.]

[Finishes off the slice he was given.]

She pressed her index finger to her lips in thought.

All that means is that you can't eat too much of it at once. It's very filling.
[Pats his belly.]

"...It took me awhile to figure out something to make it up to you..."
She looked at the floor in embaressment.
[Amused]
Really?
