One Hal in a LOT of pain

[After a particularly nasty altercation in the hallway (see: http://community.livejournal.com/fissionmailed/234275.html?thread=14055459#t14055459 ), Cybergoth!Hal is in a world of pain. Gut punched, pistol whipped and then stomped on by Metal Gear KODOQUE, Hal is hurt greatly, has a big bruise on his made-up face, and is listening to one of his favorite "angry" songs (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-gp02VH2hM). Hal pushes up his glasses and lights up a cigarette]

Anyone want to comfort him?

[OOC: Well-wishers only, please]

[He glances down, then up.]

Dr. Emmerich is not a 15 year old boy.

[Head tilt.]
Superficial?

How is questioning a boy on his dress judging on looks?
You both act and look the part of a teenager, unless I am mistaken?

If you wish for me to treat you as a child, then I shall.

Taking hostages is immature? Clearly you are from a very different world than my own. You should be thankful "you" were rescued in time. I do not doubt that you would have been killed had Solid Snake not been successful.

Hostage negotiations are far from immature.

You are a very naive, disrespectful child.
No alternate world could create something so asinine.

I never asked for your respect.

It is the dead that deserve respect, and you cannot even offer them that.

see icon title.

[As the laws of comedy dictate, here comes a ghost now.]

What on earth is that racket? The beat is fine, but it's certainly not much in the way of vocals.

[And Ocelot just smiles wryly.]

Ah, so there are in fact no words to discern at all?

[Goth? Third century Germanic Goth? The Sorrow looks vaguely puzzled.] Er, no, I'm... Russian.

Erm. [backs a few inches away from the man.] I should say not, then.

I am known as the Sorrow.

Indeed so. I'm afraid that the dead cannot drink, however.

[Mutters something about disrespect.]

[Pats his son on the head with a smile. This one turned out well!]

[stares down at himself to ensure that he is still floating and semi-transparent. Yes, he is. Perhaps Dr. Emmerich could use a stronger prescription for his glasses.]

Er, no, I suspect my room is rather well soundproofed... but I can understand how it might disturb the rest of others. [Hm? What's that?]

...actually a few of the less visible ghosts indeed wish to register their complaints with you.

[identity profile] a-sign-of-rain.livejournal.com 2008-08-24 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that would probably be advisable. [Well, at least he's considerate.]

...the ghosts thank you. [Fails to add, "and advise you to drop dead, you tasteless whippersnapper." Ghosts can be rather grumpy, at times.]
