Hey, Mother- Let's go to my room, I've got movies, vodka, and some of this-

Intel tells me it's good for this sort of thing.

...How can you contain an entire movie in a plastic circle? What happened to the physical roll of film?

Hn.

*Only slightly confused, she takes a seat next to him*
Well. I hope this is as good as the movies I've seen in the past.

...

Adam.

This is an odd way to show your support...

...Quite.

*And she can't help but smile a little at that. He really did mean well, didn't he?*

John Wayne would be fine. *she nods, and finally takes some ice cream for herself*

Mmm.

I've never disliked it. I suppose I don't have an opinion on it one way or the other.

[nom. It's quite good, actually.]
[Glancing down at him for a moment, she switches the ice cream to another hand and, with a bit of hesitation, wraps an arm around him.
Getting used to something like this.. it was foreign to her.]

That it isn't. [She actually smiles a little at that]

...[At that squeeze... well, she can't help but pay more attention to him anyway, now that he's here, but.]

It's been too long.

[And she wraps her arms around him, hugging him gently]

You don't need to hold anything back. If you're angry, or upset- you won't be any less of a man for it.

[ If only she could take her own advice.]

[She only continues to hold him, for a moment, listening. It just.. wasn't as simple as giving him up. Giving up what she was used to. Surely, he understood that.

Maybe he did, too, but she wasn't about to ask him anytime soon.]

...Nevermind my issues, Adam. I should think you have your own to worry about- you do not need the additional burden of my own troubles to add to them.

And as for myself-- well. I can.. deal with them, when the time is right.
