[With the coming of December, comes the coming of different things for the Nexus. One new thing you can find atop random doors is mistletoe-]

[-and it's only when you're nearby does a counter of KISSES (0/1) appear above your head. Nothing happens if you ignore it and nothing happens if you obey it. Do you indulge?]

I'll try to be quick for your sakes. [He knows about your headaches and that's the last thing he wants you to have right now. This will be a special moment for the both of them.

Liquid leaned in and pressed both his lips to the other man's, deepening the kiss, tasting him. It felt amazing and he didn't want it to stop.]

[If he had caught that thought before it finished, he'd have been damn flattered a the sentiment.

Mantis' body was rigid as he tried to focus his telepathy onto Liquid. To dig into his thoughts and find whatever he could that would cut out anyone else in the room. Liquid always had better social skills and dominated the kiss easily, but Mantis still had his own ways of assuring Liquid that all was well. He wrapped his long arms around the other man's body and set his nails lightly on the skin. Anything digging in hard, and that'd be Liquid's sign to stop.]

[Liquid dominated Mantis's mouth with his own but not forcefully. He applied just enough pressure to make the kiss pleasurable for them both. He wanted more. He always wanted more. But now wasn't the time. He allowed his hand to rest at the back of Mantis's head, as he playfully nibbled on his friend's lower lip.]

[He could feel a rush of blood going towards his head as they kept it up. Always indulgent Liquid didn't settle for simple chaste things very often. It suited Mantis just fine for the purposes of this little experiment. A more intense kiss gave him a whole plethora of sensations to help drown out other thoughts.

Ever so slowly, Mantis slid one hand lower towards that perfect specimen of an ass. It was a matter of aesthetics that even he couldn't deny.]

[Liquid felt the hand on his arse and smiled at that. Naughty. He wasn't expecting Mantis to be so forward this time and he was loving every second of it. Two could play at that game.

Liquid kissed along Mantis's jaw and then found his ear, nibbling softly on his earlobe.]

[It's just his ass, really. If he was in the mood for the other end, he'd have long dragged Liquid to somewhere far more private.

Besides, the freedom of Liquid going for his ear gave him a chance to see that the counter had somehow not changed. Son of a-]

Didn't...work. [His eyes sort of flutter shut as he returns his attention to Liquid's mouth. Much as he hated to admit it, he was grateful to whomever taught him to be so skillful.] Another way, I think.

[Liquid liked the feel of Mantis's hand over his ass.]

Mm....what other way? [The blond pressed a few soft kisses to his lover's jawline and hummed in approval. In other words what else because he was enjoying this far too much.]

[He's frowning as he pins Liquid's head between his hands. A thumb idly brushed against Liquid's cheek before he tried kissing his brow, the corners of his eyes. Any part of the face that could be considered appropriate for the caress of a pair of lips.]

[It was odd to hear Mantis giving Liquid orders but he did as his friend ordered. If it were anyone else Liquid would have laughed at them and probably given them a punch in the face for being so disobedient.

The kissing felt good. The stimulation he was getting from the other man's tongue was amazing. He sighed and closed his eyes.]

[Well, there was always psychic force if Liquid decided to get a little uppity about the whole thing. As much as he liked short passes of approval going through Liquid's head, it still wasn't changing that damn counter, and now he really needed the mask back. He took it without asking for it and slipped it on. Several deep breaths passed before he spoke again.]

I'm out of ideas.

[Liquid felt the closeness move away from him as he watched Mantis place his mask back over his head. Had he pushed too far? Yet, his friend had warned him that he didn't really cope without his mask for too long.]

Mantis? Are you alright? [Liquid placed a hand on his shoulder. Had he pushed too far with his lust and desire?]

[He's still got his hands lingering on Liquid, now around his shoulders, as he gets his mind clear. Just a little too long that time. It wasn't even all that bad.]

It got a little too noisy. I needed the quiet again. [He smiled and leaned his head over to the hand on his own shoulder.] You did nothing wrong. That felt...nice.

[You can leave those fingers there all you like, Mantis.]

Of course. Forgive me if I got a little.....excited. [That's one word you could use, Liquid. You naughty boy.] It did feel nice and I'd like to do it again sometime.

[Good for both of them, then. Mantis didn't intend to remove his hands quickly.]

You like trying to suffocate me with your mouth. [Let him rephrase that for you, oh illustrious leader.] Another time, then.

Is that what you call it? [Liquid chuckled softly and ran his hand behind Mantis's neck and kept it there.]

Come up with a better term and I will let you use it instead. [He liked that laugh. He liked many things about Liquid. The hand at the back of his neck sent a shiver down his spine.]

I think we've been tricked by this room.

Hm, perhaps assisting you with a tongue massage? [Pffft. Yeah right.]

Oh? How so?

[He's scowling at you right now, not that you can really see it.]

We've attempted several varieties of kisses, and the counters didn't change. It's a trick room, whatever it is.

Indeed, we have. It seems this room wants to get the better of us, but we won't let that happen.

Busting down the door, then. [The little bit of mistletoe above them suddenly caught fire. Oh dear.] If all this room really wanted was to get people to make out with each other, I could have done that with you somewhere else.
