Get your fancy duds on
[Big Boss sits in a cozy Italian restaurant, gently swirling the wine in his glass. In a moment, he'll be calling
fancy_shooting to join him.]
[In the meantime and as he waits for his date, the old soldier simply observes the others in the restaurant.]
[((Come have a fancy dinner with your own date, or bother Big Boss. Replies may be late because school.))]

[Dressed in a pure white suit, she takes a seat at one of the many tables. This room had a heavenly scent surrounding it which piqued the woman's appetite. Her fingers reach out to collect the menu and she casually leafs through it in search of a meal to satisfy her needs.]

[
...Okay, maybe he is.]no subject
You're welcome to join me, Jack.

[Busted.]
Alright~
[As he steps closer John, of course, casually tries to 'play it off' as if he meant himself to be detected.]

[Folding a leg over the other, the woman elevates her posture in her seat as she lowers the menu for John to take a peek.]
I wasn't expecting to see you here.
no subject
Really? A nice place like this that offers food and you weren't expecting to see me here?
[Old John smirks at his own statement.]

[Joy pushes the menu towards her older companion.]
Take your pick, then. I have already decided on my meal.

[He smirks casually as he eyes the menu.]

[A waiter comes along to take their order, albeit looking surprised at Joy's decision to order one of everything. Thankfully, it was a pretty big table they were sitting at. At least it wouldn't all come out at once.]
[A bottle of white wine is left to the two individuals. Boss takes it upon herself to distribute it between them.] So. How have you been?
no subject
[He smiles again, both in the fact that he's delighted to be with her again, and that he's getting an entire menu-full of food.]
I have been well.
I hope that you have been the same.

[The Boss smiles genuinely. She carefully eases John's glass towards him, before taking her own between her fingers.]
You seem brighter and even more chipper every time we meet. It's a pleasure to be in your company.
no subject
I do?
ah...thank you, but the pleasure is all mine. [He smirks as he takes a sip of his wine.]

[
Pick up already, geez.]no subject
What is it?
[He hopes it isn't an emergency. That's usually the reason he gets half of his calls.]
no subject
Do you have any plans made for the next few days?
[Normally the older man would simply order Ocelot to meet him, but he's trying to seduce the kitten away from his current lover.]
no subject
...Do you need me for something?
no subject
I haven't seen you for a few days. [Unless you counted that alternate who'd stormed out of his room the other day.]
no subject
Where are you..?
no subject
I thought we could have dinner together.
no subject
[He pauses at the door, taking in the layout of the room. It looks... nice. Unexpectedly nice.]
John?
no subject
Adam, you look well.
[The man didn't have the pained tightness to him that he had had last time they'd met.]
no subject
So what do you really want me here for?
no subject
[He gives Ocelot a look]
Is it really so unusual for you to have dinner with a friend?

[Emma entered the restaurant with a smile, looking a bit more like a girl again, which meant she was wearing a fairly plain blue dress that went down to her ankles.]
[She was seated a little ways from Big Boss, but hadn't noticed him yet, flipping through the menu.]
