[Big Mama, or EVA as some would call her, had been decorating her room in the headquarters with roses. Roses absolutely everywhere. God save the one who ever saw her doing this though. As much as she loved the orphans at times, she'd be... a tad embarrassed to have someone walk in on her as she did this.
With a small smile on her lips, she had been humming a soft tune as she put the flowers in a rather simple glass vase, only to soon notice that it wasn't filled with water. The old woman sighed softly and shook her head. She really was getting old, forgetful already? How he would laugh at her...
Ah, she really was getting old. Thinking of such silly things, oh stupid her. Smiling to herself, she wanders out from the room...
Only to find herself in an unfamiliar hallway. It wasn't entirely empty, sofas, chairs, tables and whatnot here and there. With a frown, she quickly looked back at the door, which now seemed to be locked.

Better be safe than sorry. Big Mama draws her gun, ready for anything that might attack. Or anything she can threaten...
((Big Mama before MGS4. Then gun she uses is here ))

Good afternoon, ma'am. You can put the gun away; very few people here are prone to attack without provocation.
no subject
... Good day to you as well, sir.

[He took a few steps forward, not wanting to disturb her too much.]
no subject
[Thinking about it, he wasn't so disturbing. After all this time, she have nearly gotten used to most of this all... In the end, he wasn't as disturbing as a certain someone.
Ahem, Volgin.]Could you please tell me where I am, sir...?

This place is called Nexus. Essentially, people from different universes and timelines are brought together for reasons unknown to live here for an undisclosed amount of time. There are numerous empty apartments, kitchens and a couple of gyms, and we also have a fully staffed hospital. I cannot guarantee when or if you’ll ever leave this place, but you’re not alone. There are countless other residents, most of whom are harmless.
[That about covered the basics.]

[The woman think through everything he have said. It all seemed impossible, and she was worried about the children back home. They weren't completely incapable of taking care of themselves, but a mother is a mother.
The fact that this place seemed to have everything they needed pleased her though. At least she won't be dying.]

[Big Mama, huh? The name along brought to mind old memories that he shooed away very quickly.]

Any I should look out for?
no subject
[He smirked.] I could show you to one of the bars, if you'd like.

[Smiling, she nods at him and crosses her arms. Yes, a glass of wine sounds wonderful right now, it will take her mind off things.]

The less you think about the logic in how this place works, the better of you'll be. For now, alcohol will take the sting off.
no subject
[She lets out an almost bitter laugh, shaking her head. Well, alcohol did solve a lot of things in many different ways, so she might as well get drunk.]

[The elevator came, and he let her enter first before heading down to the fourth floor.] Personally, though, I like vodka.

[She follows the man with her arms crossed, idly glancing around.] For all these years, wine have always been my true love in the bar.

[He counted off the doors down the hall before opening one, finding it to be the very bar he liked best. Good and cozy, it was a place you wouldn't mind getting drunk in.] Ladies first.

Very slowly, Emma lowered her headphones, letting them rest on her neck.]
H-hello.
no subject
Hello, little one... [Slowly, the older woman takes a few steps towards the girl.] Who are you...?

[She doesn't like the sound of that at all, the frown growing. She plans to come out here alive, not dead or mentally destroyed.]

[That only worries her further, for very, very good reasons. The poor woman will have her mind broken in this pace.]

[The teen shrugged.]

[She chuckles softly to herself, shaking her head. Even after all this time, she still couldn't help but to love the more elegant part of life.]

[Bliss in captivity was what it was.]

Could you please lead me to an... ah, apartmentroom, young lady?
no subject
[She looked bewteen all the doors in the hallway, opening one at random. TO her relief, it was one of the apartments, although this one was a lot larger than the ones she ususally found. It was like a big condo.]
Uhm... Too big?
no subject
[So, when he notices a familiar woman stalking down the hallway, his pale eyes widen. It had been far too long since he had conversed with the woman. The nerves and the pain hit him ten-fold as he began to follow EVA down the hallway.]
... Big Mama?
no subject
A small smile grows on her lips. Solid Snake, one of her sons. She had been expecting him, yes, but so soon? No. How he was also here was another question she wanted answered. Wherever... here was.]
... David.
no subject
[Although his heart is heavy, David lingers a few feet from Big Mama. Now that she's here, he's not entirely sure what he should say.]
It's been a while.
no subject
[However, she is curious. She still haven't met him, for all she knows, he's not even supposed to know who she is yet.]
... It have been many years... But how do you know me?
no subject
Eastern Europe. You... don't remember?
no subject
[It had really been a long time now. 42 years to be exact. A long time to stay away from ones own children, just being able to hear about what is happening to them. It have been a long painful time, but it's not like she haven't been busy as well, doing her own work.]
no subject
[A new one. Maybe David could reconcile with his mother here, to make up for all the wrongs that had happened on that fateful mission.]
no subject
[It was odd. Having her son here, knowing about what they were going to do, knowing about her... The oddest thing was the darkness in his eyes. Was he regretting something? The answers would come in due time, she just had to be patient. One can't rush when it comes to this, and now, it seems like they got all the time in the world. She just doesn't know how right she is...]

[There was little point divulging information until he was certain of the whereabouts this EVA came from.]

[Which other year would it be, she wonders...]
