Just because I'm a redhead doesn't mean I have a fiery personality... or does it
What a complete asshole...
[Meryl was storming down the hallway, still fuming after her run in with the male EVA. He really got under her skin- and not in the way he would have liked, most likely. Men like that... ugh.]
[Finally Meryl came to her destination: a gym. This was a good way to work off some aggression. Not much later, the redhead could be seen punching the hell out of a punching bag.]
[((I don't know. RANDOM POST. Post doing your own thing in the gym or talk to Meryl))]

You're... me.
[Excuse the obvious comment, it's the first time she's met an alternate
unless I'm a complete idiot and forgot.]no subject
[Meryl doesn't seem all that shocked by her alternate's reaction. In fact, she's somewhat insensitive to it all.]
So I guess you're still upset about being dragged into a weird building, huh?

Still trying to get used to it.

You better keep up this training, it'll make things seem more normal.
[She grabs the punching bag again, and gestures to it.]

[She threw a few punches, but she just couldn't get into it like before.]
It's just strange. It's like looking in a mirror.
[
Not that she looked in the mirror a lot.]no subject
[The older Meryl was more comfortable seeing herself, but that was just because she cared a lot less. She tried to make the situation less awkward by starting up a conversation.]
So, what year are you from?

[It was a little frightening to see herself, really. Though she wasn't much older, it was still the person she was going to become. That was a lot to put on someone's shoulders.]
I came from the Shadow Moses incident.
[She figured Meryl would know what she was talking about.]

[Meryl doubted they would end up the same here. She remembers meeting another one of herself, and how cheery and relaxed she seemed to be. She herself had mellowed out quite a bit, going from just wanting to escape and keep up her training to trying to build a life for herself and continue to be the best she can be.
She remembers being curious about who she is, but it seems more and more like she's made herself into what she is, instead of discovering a thing. She was curious how this other her would turn into, or if she'd end up the same as her.]
How far along? Have you managed to escape the facility yet?
[She started to look at her younger self's arms and legs for bullet holes. That would be a good way to know for sure what happened to her.]

I was about to meet Snake in the bathroom when I got yanked here.

[Maybe she better not say anything about her future. She abruptly tries to change the topic.]
You know, you could be here for a while. Have you decided what you're going to do with your time?
