// Electric, it's a natural hiiiigh~

[Of all the things Liquid might have expected, this was not one of them.

He had walked into a room earlier almost without thinking, mistaking it for one he regularly visited. Realising his mistake he had, of course, swiftly left as fast as a man could leave without giving signs of fear. But as the day passed and little happened to harm him, he grew steadily more relaxed. That was, at least, until the electricity coursing through him began to manifest. A brief spark of annoyance, an unconscious exertion and shattered glass from the exploding corridor lights adorned the floor like snow, leaving a stretch of hall in total darkness. Liquid stared down at his hand as sparks crackled over it.

...that was actually both painful and entertaining.
]

...the hell?

[Surely that was new.]

(ooc: So yeah, thanks to chat, Liquid now has lightning powers! ...for three days, at least.)

[Sigh. She wasn't really surprised that it hurt...]

I wish I knew what kind of advice to give.

Volgin...? [The name was familiar, but she couldn't put a face to it.]

[After a few second's deliberation, she snapped her finger.] Grounded electricity! If you set up some kind of metal pole and try and direct the electricity towards it, it'll dispel the pent up energy. Essentially, simulating lightning strikes on a skyscraper.

Ah. [All she needed to know.]

[She nodded, holding out her hands, one higher than the other.]

Anything made of metal, really. You're best bet is to be higher than the metal plate when you do it and to make sure the metal is placed on a poor conductor of electricity, like stone or dirt.

A pile of knives, if you can help it. Largle piles conduct more.

[Vamp. The name sent a shiver through her, but she didn't know why.]

He carries a lot of them?

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[She heard about her fate, but didn't yet know which name to put to his face.]

Makes me wonder how he'd carry around enough knives,

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Trouser knives... [She didn't want to know either. Probably for the best.]

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Avoid the man with lots of knives. Got it. Any special features I should know about? [She didn't want to meet up with a guy a Liquid didn't want to deal with, especially a knife nut.]

[Oh no...]

And a beard mustache combo? Very low voice?

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[Emma nodded dumbly, collapsing onto her knees.]

How many of him are here?

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
One of them. He told me he killed me back where I'm from. No emotion in his voice or anything...

[And now she had a name for him. Vamp. Vampire. A monster.] How many of him are here, Liquid?

[identity profile] comp-kunoichi.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Emma nodded, slowly standing.]

Maybe there's some kind of room around here that has a lot of silverware or light-bulbs. If the current is going to cause you pain, you need a way to discharge it to a safer level.
