[Those who had been "affected" finally detect a change. It's a sensation of being pulled. Wherever they are, no matter how far from it, they suddenly find themselves forcefully yanked back into their bodies, and the connection is reestablished at long last. All the people that fell a week ago are waking up...]

((Event end! The "affected" are now back in their bodies. ...But if something happened to the body during the week, they have to deal with it. There's no magic healing.))

He's dead.

[Snake doesn't show any signs of distress. There's nothing he can do about that situation.]

Looks like he died in his sleep. I was worried I might find you the same way.

[And when he had caught sight of Vamp laying on the lobby couch, for a terrible moment he'd thought the man dead too.]

[Raiden had told him several people had suddenly dropped dead other than his alternate, but that one had come to life suddenly after 8 days.]

I would check on him today. My alternate revived earlier, which is why I'm here right now.

[Out of everything, having to share his room with his own dead body had been the most unnerving.]

[He wasn't rushing to talk about it, but he doesn't see any reason to specifically ignore the issues either.]

He kept the body there the entire time.

[Of course the corpse got the bed and he had to be chained to the couch. How unfair.]

He just enjoyed listening to me complain. [It was... so weird.]

[He walks into the room behind Snake, feeling a sudden wave of relief wash over him now that he's in a private, familiar space.]

[He laughs quietly and head to the bedroom to get Vamp some clean clothes.]

Go shower. I'll bring you something to wear.

[And call Liquid to check up on him]

[He stares at Snake until he disappears into the bedroom before turning around and heading into the bathroom. Once inside he's quick to strip off his pants, having worn them for four days straight.]

[calling out to Snake] Bring something comfortable!

[Vamp then goes to turn on the shower.]

[A quick call later and Snake slips into the bathroom with a change of clothes for each of them. He undresses quietly, then joins Vamp in the shower.]

[He doesn't seem particularly surprised when Snake joins him, and the offer is welcome. After that experience, he's going to let himself indulge in whatever comforts he's offered.]

[He starts at Vamp's shoulders, massaging the sore muscles that accompany sleeping on a couch for some time. Snake's hands are strong and rough with callouses, and he works his way steadily over Vamp's back.]

[Between the warm, soothing water and the the strong hands rubbing the lingering discomfort from his back, Vamp is feeling pretty good. He slumps forward slightly with a pleased sigh, allowing his eyes to slide shut.]

[Snake smirks a little at that while he finishes cleaning. Once he's done, he steps forward so that his front is flush against Vamp's back and he reaches around to clean the man's chest and firm belly as well.]

[With Snake's frame there now to support him, he chooses to lean back instead, making himself more accessible to the cleaning. Yes... he could definitely get used to this kind of treatment even if he figures Snake is probably just being particularly friendly because he was gone so long.]

[He uses his nose to nudge Vamp's hair out of the way so he can nuzzle at the man's neck, kissing where it joined his shoulder. His hand moves lower to trace idle lines above Vamp's groin.]

[With a small smirk he takes the soap, scrubbing some lingering blood from the arm he had bitten. Watching the pink-tinged water run down the drain, he's suddenly far more aware that he can feel the younger man's heartbeat against his back when he presses close. Vamp really is hungry...]

[Grabbing one of Snake's forearms, he brings his wrist up to his mouth and presses his lips to the heel of his hand.]

[The other arm wraps around Vamp's waist, holding him against Snake's body. The younger man growls contentedly as he sucks gently at the wet skin.]

[He doesn't waste much time before sinking his teeth into Snake's wrist, shuddering slightly when he gets his first taste of blood other than his own for the first time in days. He knows he can't drink much without affecting Snake though, so he'll probably have to eat something else later.]

[He grunts softly as the fangs pierce his skin. A warm flush creeps over his body, reminding him of how good it feels to have Vamp's lips and tongue and teeth exploring more of his body. Snake's arm tightens unthinkingly around Vamp's waist.]

[Vamp drinks slowly, wanting to savor it while he can. The tightened grip around his waist pulls him rather... intimately back against Snake, and he smirks slightly against the man's wrist, though he doesn't pause to comment.]

[It's been much too long since he's held someone like this. Snake kisses Vamp's neck, moaning quietly as his arousal grows.]

[Soon he stops drinking, not wanting to make his roommate dizzy from blood loss. But he can't help but feel a bit flushed himself, the attention to his neck distracting. It probably doesn't help that it's been well over a year since he's slept with anybody.]

If I didn't know better, I'd think you were going to give blood a try~ [He tilts his head slightly, giving him better access to his neck.]

[The bitten hand brushes over Vamp's throat teasingly before gliding down to rub a thumb over an exposed nipple. Snake makes a low noise and licks the offered neck.]
