[In a hallway, Liquid sat up suddenly. A dream? Had he pulled a Mantis and just... walked out here in his sleep? That was a disturbing dream if that was the case. Hal holding the smoking gun right at him, Talib calling him an ally of his- He was under a bit too much stress with that man around. Liquid stood, reaching for a nearby doorknob.]

[And watched his hand plunge right into the door]

[... no. No, no, no. He couldn't be dead, not at Hal's hands. It was a trick door, one the Nexus-]

[He wasn't actually touching the ground.]

Emmerich. This one is... I don't want to know what crazy bastard I am in his world. He's not quite sane. Before I... died, he looked sickened at what he did. But the gun in his hands still had smoke from the barrel.

I would be wary of him. He's truly not sane, and I cannot imagine what he would do if he knew you were friendly with Liquids.

... there's a rookie Snake as well. Keep him... if you can, keep him busy for three days. Keep his mind off things. Do that... gibberish talk to him. Just make him not wish to find my body.
