TWIRLING ROOM. COME TO FAIL?
[This one-armed Ocelot had been warned about the rooms. That didn't scare him, of course. They didn't seem to be dangerous, from what he'd heard, and he had to admit he was curious. All of the rooms he'd been in so far seemed boring, however - until he stepped into a room full of things. There were many tables and shelves, filled with everything from ornaments to candles to batons. Interesting. Or it was, until he realised he couldn't leave.
Drawing his gun out, ready, he absently spun it in his hand as he looked around for another exit. There was a strange chime and he paused, glancing around warily before looking up. There was a counter above his head.]
Oh... now this will be amusing.
[He snickered, deciding to stick around for a while. There would be a lot of fail here. A lot of it.]
(You have to successfully twirl something to escape. Anything, from a gun to a pencil - but it has to be done properly. If you drop it, you fail and need to start over. If someone helps you, you need to start over. If you cheat (glue, rubber bands, anything to keep it up - oh bby), you'll have an extra thing to twirl to escape. If you can't, the Nexus might just give up on you and kick you out!)

But that... I sound like a Bond Villain too, don't I.
[Thinks] So wait...All those other people here who look like me are...
No, I wasn't raised in England, that was my...brother. Well, that's what he says he is, anyway.

It sounds like each of you grew up the way the other would in the more usual universes. Man, that would be an incredible twin study...

[Is not sure how to ask this.]
So Big Boss...

[Hal's expression wavers.]
Ah...What about him?

Big Boss, I mean.
[Or had he been living in a SF movie all along?]

[Hal trails off. Liqu-, er, Solid didn't need to be filled in on what he already knows.]

[Clones of Big Boss. Oh, the headaches.]
Well yes, I had no idea I even had a brother till quite recently.
...How do things go, in most of the worlds?
I hope he doesn't rant as much. He's really not good at it. [Snake keeps wanting to edit his brother's rants, seriously.]

[After he finishes, he goes quiet for a few moments, letting the other man take it all in.]
...It's hard to imagine Snake ranting. He doesn't talk very much, usually.

...My brother is either ranting, or silent and morose. Most of the time. I've only recently discovered that he's perfectly capable of having a normal conversation, as long as he wasn't talking to me.
[Thinks about what Shadow Moses means for his world.]
I find it had to imagine that...even Liquid...
[Thinks of his brother making small talk with his neighbors. He'd looked...normal. He'd even smiled, a bit. He would have liked to see more of that persona of Liquid, but no, that one wasn't for him, sadly.]
