Okay, finally posting with her.
[Amanda had been in the nexus for a while, however, she had been keeping herself scarce, mostly trying to find her brother, Chico, and protect Paz, as she was the one person she had seen in the nexus so far, that she knew. Well, unless you counted AIs. However, there was something she still didn't quite understand. So standing in the lobby, smoking a Cuban cigar, she attempted to catch the attention of the people passing by.]
Who is it that is responsible for imprisoning us? Although I appreciate freedom to roam around in this jaula, I have things I need to do in my own world!

[Closest thing to truth he can say without sounding absurd.]

[She gave him a disbelieving stare.]
Are you loco?! You can't be that much younger than him!

...I'm 37. Came here from 2009.

[She says this incredulously, looking at him, as if he belonged in a straight jacket.]
Forget loco you are un lunĂ¡tico! This is not some hospital I was brought to, was it?!

[He doesn't really care that she thinks he's crazy. He's been called worse.]

I am from 1974.
[It felt ridiculous to state even that.]
I was on the Mother Base of the MSF, before waking up here.

[She shrugged.]
I have been here around a week or so. I saw a pamphlet that said something like that, but I tossed it out, because it sounded like tonterĂas...absolute hogwash! The kind of thing my little brother would love to read!

Outer Heaven?
[That was not good.]
You're part of Outer Heaven?
[The last he'd seen of Outer Heaven had been... god, how long ago? He closed his eyes, sighing.]
Listen. It's not hogwash. It's true. Go ask around if you don't believe me.

[His dismay over the ordeal confused her. What did he find wrong with it?]
It is still a lot to take in, but at the very least, it seems to be the story that people believe around here.
[Man, Chico would probably love it here. She hasn't seen any UMDs yet, but just the bizarre nature of the place should keep him happy.]

[He looked away.]
It's the truth. There are people from all over the world, from the 60s upward.

[Not that she ever thought they would be. In some ways, Big Boss treated her brother, as if he were a surrogate son.]
I suppose the truth will reveal itself to me eventually.

[He leant back, smoking his cigarette dispassionately.]
