And we did speak only to break the silence of the sea
[Raven has gone wandering. He is weary, but where shall he stop?]
[A door opens to a fresh ocean breeze. He steps in, and his immense boots sink into the sand of an island's shore.]
[Around him spreads the wreckage of a library. Shelves are half-sunk in the damp sand, some fallen on the grass farther up the shore. Others are scattered everywhere, great volumes with salt-stained leather covers. All are miraculously legible. Obscure volumes, modern novels, even scripts - anything you could hope to find. More scattered volumes lead into the jungle at the island's heart.]
[Raven opens his mouth to speak.]
Day after day, day after day,
We stuck, nor breath nor motion;
As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean.
[That is not entirely what he intended to say.]
[And, as he turns to leave, he finds he can't entirely do that.]
[Above his head float the words QUOTES PLACED: 0/3]
((Quote island! Here your character can speak only in quotes from whatever source or medium you choose. They can also name titles; essential, because as you're speaking to other characters, you'll have to correctly identify the source of three of their quotes before you can leave. Using Google to guess is cheating.))
