...I was trying to, when I got pulled here. [Siiigh.]
[Arranging an end run around Father Dearest had been the most difficult part, actually - He couldn't trust him worth a damn, at that point.]
[Thank goodness Father had been distracted by many things at the time.]
They said that it was really him, and then - bang.
[Oh, well, his Team was good, they could get out of their even without his help, but really, Nexus!]
