[PARA MEDIC #1] - Nin Nin
[...well, this was certainly strange. The base looked quite different on the outside than it did on the inside. It was like stepping forth into a fantasy land. Like she'd stepped into a movie. So for now, she stealthed her way around just as Snake had shown her, wondering vaguely why the hell she'd been sent on this mission when she should have been safely on the medical team.
Really, was he that short on staff? He'd kidnapped - uh, well, yeah, kidnapped was the word for knocking someone out, sticking them in a truck and "persuading" them to work for you - a lot of people and he still wanted to send her out on this recon mission? HER?!
Oh, well. Best to make the best of it. At least she hadn't run into any enemies yet. She had the MK .22 that Snake had given her, but she didn't really want to have to use it.
Para Medic heaved a sigh, peering around a corner and seeing nobody.]
This is just like being in a spy movie... The Major would love this.
(Have an MPO era Para Medic!)

Oh, hello~

[She gasped, whirling and lifting the MK .22 to point at the stranger's face.
...the fact that there wasn't an alarm going off pointed to her not being an enemy, however. A prisoner? ...that wandered free? Or maybe she was just being mistaken for an ally for some reason. She smiled nervously, lowering the gun.]
Hello!

Ah...I was scared for a moment...
no subject
...what are you doing on this base? It's really not safe here.

[She looked utterly confused.]
But... I was just entering a base... I can't have gotten somewhere else. I studied the maps inside and out.

[But surely he wasn't so young last time she'd seen him?]
...Major Raikov?
[Maybe he really was a venusian...]

[Ivan blinked, confused.]
I do not think I know you...

[She studied him intently, rising to her feet to peer at him.]

[It was her.]

[The young boy bounds off in her direction and promptly tackles her into a hug.]
Ack, sorry, didn't get the alert!
Wha-?
It's okay
[David blinks when he feels the woman stumbling back. He shifts off her body and touched her hand.]
I missed you.

[He looked so familiar...]

[Disappointment quickly surfaced onto David's face.]
It's me. David.
[But he knew his argument was fruitless. This was not his Doctor Clark.]

[Enemy! - Wait. Where were the alert sounds? And since when did enemies politely ask "Are you lost?".
She stared at him in surprise. Well, if he wasn't calling the guards, she might as well be polite.]
Do you work here?

[He was mistaking her for a new transfer or something?]
Uh, yes! That's right.

Okay, then. This place is basically like an interdimensional nexus where a bunch of different worlds and timelines intersect. There's even duplicates of people around here. My name's Hal Emmerich, and I came here from 2009--how about you?
